Hello,

Welcome.

My name is Lou Redman.

Thank you for listening.

I recently watched a YouTube video about the Deuce Latouille story.

Deuce was an offensive lineman for the Arizona Cardinals NFL football team.

A couple years into his career,

He didn't think much of himself.

He even called himself the Lindsay Lohan of offensive linemen.

No disrespect to Lindsay if you remember the time,

Which was like 10,

She represented having a lot of potential,

But wasted talent.

And through a powerful series of events,

Deuce ends up meeting with legendary coach Steve Hardison.

Steve asks him who Deuce thinks the best offensive lineman in the NFL is.

Deuce shies away from the answer,

Not even considering to say himself.

I won't give away the punch,

But Steve ends up igniting a power in Deuce that leads him to proclaim that he was the best offensive lineman in the NFL.

When Deuce saw himself as the best offensive lineman in the world,

His whole being changed.

He practiced differently.

He played differently.

He lived differently.

Results showed up on the field,

But they also rippled throughout his life.

That one inner commitment set off a movement that inspired others to make their own proclamations and commitments.

And it's still rippling now,

15 years later,

As I share his story with you.

It's had me reflect on the question,

What am I committed to being best in the world at?

How can I be the best husband,

Father,

Coach,

Teacher,

And leader in the world?

Using in the world is important,

Not because we'll ever be objectively the best,

But because of the inner way of being it creates.

Try it on.

Make a commitment to be the best blank in the world.

How do you walk through your day?

How do you show up with your kids?

How do you show up at your job?

How do you treat others?

Just imagine what the world would be like if everyone had the inner commitment to be the best parent or partner in the world.

It's simple and powerful.

And in so much of the work that I share on this app,

In some ways it's to help you continue that journey of finding what that is and also living what that is,

Remembering that we have everything we already need and that all we really have to do is step into the wellspring of creativity and connection that we already have.

And so again,

I'm asking you to think about what is your inner commitment.

Maybe for you it's to be the best writer in the world,

The best accountant in the world,

The best parent in the world,

The best,

I'm not sure yet,

But I'm going to keep learning and listening and uncovering.

And that's what my journey is about.

I'm going to be the best seeker in the world.

And so my promise to you is to show up on here as the best inspirer,

The best speaker,

Teacher,

Leader,

Coach.

The words don't really matter.

It's really the essence of how we orient in our days.

And even before recording this track,

I shifted into that.

Oh,

If I was to record the track the best way that I could,

How does my body feel?

It's such a shift that we can use in so many areas of our day.

So I hope you run with it.

I hope you realize as Marianne Williamson said,

That you are powerful beyond measure.

And once you own that power from a place of integrity and authenticity and love,

That that really is going to have a ripple effect in your life,

That that is ultimately what changes the world because it starts by changing our world.

Thank you again for listening.

Let me know how this lands or resonates.

I love getting to share these with you.

And if you're looking for more support from me,

I really encourage you to go to my courses tab on my profile and scroll through the different courses that I have on here and see which one speaks to you.

I really show up in my meditation courses on this app with all of myself.

I give a lot.

They are expressions of the best work that I have ever done.

I put so much into them different than a track like this or a meditation that's a regular meditation.

The courses really have a different energy to them.

And so that's how I show up as the best teacher in the world.

And I encourage you if you're wanting to go deeper to check out those courses and see which calls to you at this moment.

Maybe you find one that you've done already and see that actually there might be a new message there for you.

So sending you so much love and I look forward to connecting with you soon.

Hi Lou , Within six minutes, this track shifted so many of my ways at looking at myself . In all honesty, it was one of the best tracks I heard on Insight Timer, if not , the best. No pun intended. I thank you. J
