Your mindset radically affects the course of your day.
Starting your day with this Yoga Nidra meditation for abundance and gratitude will help you start to radically shift how you think about yourself,
Your world around you,
And prime your brain to focus on the abundance in your life instead of the lack.
Begin to move into your most comfortable position.
If you're new to Yoga Nidra,
Know that laying down is encouraged,
But finding the right position for your body is most important.
Taking your time to support the body,
And take a moment to see if there is even the slightest amount of discomfort that you're accepting,
And see what you can do to release that discomfort.
Close your eyes or take a soft gaze,
And begin to slowly breathe a deep,
Full breath in through your nose,
And at the top of your inhale,
When you feel completely expanded,
Slowly at your own pace exhale back out the nose.
We will repeat that for two more breaths,
Inhaling slowly,
A full deep breath,
Expanding completely and more than you have all day long,
And then slowly at your own pace exhaling back out.
Notice your body on the surface below you,
And become aware of the body in the space of your room,
And then take notice of the teardrop shaped space that surrounds the edges of your body.
Welcome the experience of the body becoming really heavy,
In a way that only you will know how.
Welcome the experience of each exhale,
Letting your body feel and become heavier and heavier,
And then inviting a positive intention into this practice.
Mentally repeat one time,
As my gratitude increases,
So does the abundance that surrounds me.
Let your attention move to your third eye.
As I name different body parts,
Let your attention move in a way that feels good to you from one part to the next.
All of your attention is on the third eye center.
Tip of the nose,
Chin,
Center of the throat,
Both arms,
Both hands,
All ten fingers,
Center of the chest,
Navel center,
Pelvic center,
Both legs,
Both feet,
All ten toes,
Base of the spine,
The entire back,
Back of the head,
Top of the head.
Move your attention to your breathing,
And follow the movement of your natural breath without changing or shaping how you're breathing.
Notice the rise and fall of your breath.
Let the breath go now,
And gently guide your attention to behind the forehead,
And begin to welcome the experience of imagining,
Trusting,
Or just feeling as though you are sitting in the middle of a beautiful field.
The sun is shining,
You can feel the warmth on your skin,
It feels as though the sun is an abundant source of beautiful energy surrounding your body,
And the breeze is the perfect temperature.
As you feel it blowing on your skin,
You feel completely at peace.
As you look around this beautiful field,
You see that what is closest to you is an abundance of the most beautiful flowers you have ever seen.
You take just a moment to notice the colors of the flowers,
Notice if you can smell any beautiful aromas of the flowers that surround you.
And as you take in this beautiful experience,
You feel within your body how being surrounded by an abundance of beautiful flowers makes you feel.
And then as you look further past the flowers,
You notice there's thousands and thousands of fruit trees.
Your favorite fruits hang from these trees.
Notice all the beautiful colors of the fruits,
Or maybe just feel it in your body,
And then feel within your body how being surrounded by an abundance of your favorite fruits makes you feel.
Pay special attention to where you feel,
What it is that you feel,
Gently,
In a way that you will know how,
Let go of any imagery that you're seeing,
And allow yourself to focus fully on the feeling of abundance in your body.
Your attention is tapping into the source of abundance and feelings within you,
Expanding and growing and wiring together new beliefs of abundance.
And allow yourself to rest here in the feeling of abundance.
Welcome back your positive intention.
Mentally repeat three times,
As my gratitude increases,
So does the abundance that surrounds me.
Pause here after repeating your intention,
And just feel the feeling of trust,
Knowing that as you've planted the seed of intention,
There's nothing else that you need to do,
But focus on the feelings of gratitude and abundance.
In this yoga nidra,
You learned how to access the feelings of abundance,
Without having to have proof externally that it's there.
When you're ready,
Begin to notice your body on the surface below you,
And then begin to hear any sounds that may be happening in the room you're in,
Or maybe further outside.
Become aware of the walls that surround you,
And then become aware of your breath.
And let's deepen the breath,
Awakening the body a little further,
Taking a deep breath in,
And then letting it go in a way that feels good to you.
Beginning again with the inhale,
Awakening you just a little bit more,
And exhale,
Letting it go.
We start to see shifts in our external reality when our feelings and our thoughts are matched,
When there's an alignment of the thoughts that we think,
And the feelings that we feel.
Practicing feeling the feelings of abundance and gratitude in a meditation,
Is the firing and wiring you need to create neuroplastic changes in your brain.
And then when you carry this outside of your practice,
You start to step into an abundant and grateful mindset.
And as your internal reality shifts,
So will your external reality.
Thanks for being here,
And your practice of yoga nidra is now complete.
