Sitting comfortably with your eyes open,
Find a point on the wall in front of you that's slightly above eye level.
And bring a soft gaze and your full attention to that point.
You may notice that your gaze is focused and narrow.
So gradually begin to include each side of that point,
Expanding your awareness along the wall,
Letting your peripheral vision increase.
And using your felt sense and hearing,
Let your awareness expand behind you as well,
Until you include 360 degree awareness.
Let your awareness rest as that space behind you,
Noticing the space within you and the space in front of you.
As you breathe in,
Allow a smile to come to your face.
As you breathe out,
Allow your eyes to gently come down to eye level and return to your regular activities.
