Welcome to your five minute forgiveness meditation.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Take a deep breath in and sigh it out.
Take another deep breath in and sigh it out.
Relax your body and become open to releasing what no longer serves you.
Bring to mind any person or experience you are now willing to forgive.

Repeat these affirmations with that person or experience in mind.
Forgiveness is a gift to myself.
I give myself the gift of freedom from the past.
As I forgive myself,
It becomes easier to forgive others.
I release any and all negative thoughts.
I let go of the need to defend myself.
It is easy and rewarding for me to forgive.
I release all drama from my life and now feel energized through peace.
It is safe for me to forgive childhood traumas.
I understand the road to freedom is through the doorway of forgiveness.
I choose freedom from anger,
Fear,
And insecurities.
As I release all criticism,
Judgmental people leave my life.
Forgiving others is the first step toward my own inner peace.
I easily let go of old negative patterns.
My heart forgives and lets go.
I release the need to be perfect.
I rest easy in the comfort of my own breath.
Forgiveness helps me feel free and light.
I accept people as they are,
Including myself.
I now see with love and hear with compassion.
I release expectations of myself and others.
By letting go,
