Welcome to your five-minute mental detox meditation.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Breathe into your body.
Tune in.
Do you notice any discomfort?
Your thoughts have energy,
And sometimes this energy gets stored in a physical location within your body.
Where do you feel any negative thoughts?
Get curious about this and see what you can locate.
Start at your toes and feet and gently scan all the way up your body until you reach your head.
Notice if there is any part of you that feels stagnant,
Tight,
Or unsettled.
Check in.
Observe without judgment.
This thought or negative feeling is not who you are.
It is an outward experience that you decided to bring inward.
It's time to release it and let it go.
Bring your attention to any area of discomfort and breathe into it.
Breathe in ease.
Breathe out tightness,
Frustration,
Restriction.
Breathe in light and comfort.
Breathe out heaviness and anger.
Breathe in peace and joy.
Breathe out tension and fury.
Feel your body release.
Feel your mind release.
Let yourself let go.
Replace any negative thinking with a positive affirmation.
I am stronger than I know.
I am connected to a power far greater than any experience in my life.
I am safe in this present moment.
I am an innately wonderful being.
I am able to fill my life with more joy every day.
I am able to release any negativity in my world.
I can and I will move past this.
I now choose to release all negativity.
I now choose to release all mental and emotional blocks.
