A short practice with minimal guidance to support our team/colleagues to focus and connect in their own way. Bells are rung during the practice to remind us to come back to our chosen anchor. A wonderful short sharp practice to weave into our day.

Transcript

Let's focus together,

Getting comfortable in the position you've chosen.

You can close the eyes or leave them open.

Adopt a soft and gentle gaze.

And if you'd like to,

You can choose your own anchor for the attention for the next few moments.

You may like to choose the breath,

Or perhaps a sensation in the body,

Or you may prefer to allow the sounds around you to capture your attention.

Make your choice now and try to resist the temptation of changing the anchor during our time together.

After some seconds you'll hear a gentle bell as a reminder to refocus your attention on your chosen anchor.

Take a moment now to recall the room we're in,

Who we're next to,

And the purpose for our being together.

Allow the eyes to gently open if they were closed,

And gather our attention now towards the task at hand.
