Transcript

Welcome to this five senses guided meditation.

This meditation is aimed to assist you in letting go of any anxiousness,

Worry and stress within your body and mind by bringing you into the here and now in a positive and beautiful way.

Let's take a deep breath in for the count of four.

In,

Two,

Three,

Four and out,

Two,

Three,

Four and in,

Two,

Three,

Four and out,

Two,

Three,

Four.

One more time in,

Two,

Three,

Four and out,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Beautiful and just allowing your breath to flow naturally and easily.

Let's take this time and opportunity to feel into your body and take a moment to look around wherever you're at right now and name five things you can see.

It could be large items like a chair or something tiny or detailed like a crack or a shadow on the wall.

Name five things you can see either out loud or silently.

The choice is yours.

Now let's move on to four things you can feel.

Bring your awareness to four things you can currently feel in this moment.

It could be the fabric of your clothes,

The texture of the chair you may be sitting in or even the feeling of air upon your skin.

Find four things you can feel.

Beautiful.

Now what's three things you can hear?

Let's take a moment to notice three things you may hear in the background like distance chatting,

The hum of a refrigerator or cars passing by.

Name three things you can hear.

Brilliant.

Let's bring our awareness to the sense of smell now.

Notice two things you can smell,

Perceived pleasant or unpleasant like the flowers from outside or someone's cooking food.

What's two things you can smell?

Great.

Now focus on one thing you can taste right now in this very moment.

Perhaps you can taste minty toothpaste from this morning or the bitterness from a coffee.

Just bring your awareness to one thing you can taste.

Beautiful.

Well done.

Let's take a moment of gratitude to be thankful for our five senses and this beautiful grounding time you have given yourself.

May you find happiness,

Love and peace in each given moment and remember you can always come back to this stillness and positivity at any time.

Enjoy.
