Welcome to Manifest Your Intention meditation.
I'm your host Elizabeth Overton and I am delighted that you are here.
The purpose of this meditation is to help you manifest your intention with ease and grace.
So be sure that you have your intention ready to go for this practice.
Allow yourself to come into this space.
I invite you to gently close down your eyes as we travel inward together in this meditation.
As you settle into the space,
Begin to notice the sounds closest to you,
Of the sounds farther away.
Notice the support of the ground beneath your feet and the support of the chair beneath your legs.
Notice the support of your spine helping you to sit up nice and tall.
Allow your arms to be relaxed.
Allow your hands to be relaxed and at ease.
As you settle into your seat,
See if you can get one percent more comfortable.
I encourage you to open yourself up to the possibilities of allowing yourself to receive the infinite possibilities of this experience.
Bring your focus right to your heart space and imagine that we are enclosed in a circle of light connecting us to one another and the universe.
Call upon your intention and allow it to lay right upon the altar of your heart.
An intention is a simple I am statement claiming how you wish to be.
For example,
For example,
I am well.
I am peaceful.
I am radiant.
I am whole.
I am supportive.
Go ahead and speak your intention silently or out loud three times.
The practice of yoga nidra begins now.
To anchor your intention into the most fertile soil possible,
I'm going to take you through a few different experiences.
All you need to do is follow my cues and the rest will take care of itself.
As you hold or imagine your intention at the altar of your heart,
We will journey through a rotation of consciousness through your body.
Simply follow my voice and shift your awareness to each body part named.
Bring your awareness to your eyebrow center,
Right temple,
Right cheek,
Right shoulder,
The right side of your chest,
The top of your right thigh,
Your right ankle.
Bring your focus to the entire right side of the body,
The entire right side of the body.
Bring your awareness to your left ankle,
The top of your left thigh,
The left side of your chest,
Left shoulder,
Left cheek,
Left temple.
Now bring your awareness bring your awareness to the space between your ears inside of your head.
Notice the entire left side of the body,
Entire left side of the body.
We will now shift our focus to your breath,
Your life force energy.
On an inhale,
Fill your belly like a balloon and exhale release,
Allow your belly to soften.
On your next exhale,
See if you can extend your breath,
Arms length in front of you.
And what about can you extend your breath behind you with your focus?
Let's take three deep breaths together,
Going at your own pace and just play with the breath.
As you breathe in and as you breathe out,
Notice if your breath has any texture.
What does that texture look like?
Is it sparkly?
Is it bumpy?
Does it have a certain color?
Does it glow?
And what about the space that your breath occupies?
When you exhale,
Can you expand it out in front of you and behind you?
What about can you make it go above your head and below your head?
Can you extend your breath to the four corners of the room?
And now can you pull your breath all the way back inside your body into the size of a small marble?
As you continue to breathe,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Playing around with the spaciousness that your beautiful life force energy holds,
Can you imagine that your intention is infused into your breath as you extend it out every exhale?
Can you allow your life force energy to fuel every single breath?
Can you fuel every single cell of your being?
Just imagine every cell,
Every atom,
The spaces in between the atoms in your body holding the very seed of your intention.
Imagine with every exhale the entire space around you is infused with your intention.
You are completely infused with the intention within you and all around you.
Wonderful.
Bring your focus to your eyebrow center and release your focus on your breath and see if you can imagine feeling really heavy throughout your entire body.
Allow gravity to take hold of your body,
Acting as if your entire body is bathed by a weighted blanket.
You feel really heavy and grounded.
And now imagine what it would be like to have zero gravity.
Imagine that you are as light as a feather.
What does it feel like to be completely weightless?
Now imagine that you are rigid to your core.
You have never been this cold ever.
You have a shiver sending down your spine you are so cold.
And now imagine that you are burning up like a hot inferno.
You are dripping with sweat.
You have never been this hot before.
Now imagine that you are seething.
Your blood is boiling with anger.
Your neck veins are bulging.
You are so angry.
And now imagine that you are 100% at ease,
100% relaxed,
And filled with the most joy you have ever experienced.
You are laughing hysterically.
You have an inner smile.
Your shoulders fall away from your ears.
You are liberated and feel a sense of freedom and ease in every cell of your being.
Bring your attention to your eyebrow center and visualize the words I say.
A red balloon,
A red balloon,
A red balloon.
A snow-capped mountain,
A snow-capped mountain,
A snow-capped mountain.
A sunset at sea,
A sunset at sea,
A sunset at sea.
A bald eagle,
A bald eagle,
A bald eagle.
A butterfly,
A butterfly,
A butterfly.
Bring your attention to your eyebrow center.
Imagine you're standing at the end of a trail in a wooded forest,
And you come upon three doors.
I'm going to count backwards from three,
And when I do,
You will open one of the three doors to reveal a message that will support the fulfillment of your intention.
Three,
You are so excited about this.
Two,
You are so ready for this.
One,
Place your hand on the door and walk through.
Open yourself to receive whatever you perceive here that will support the embodiment of your intention.
It could be anything.
A word,
A person,
A symbol,
A color,
A feeling,
A knowing,
A vision.
Whatever it is,
Let it wash over you and through you.
And remember that whatever you perceive in this experience is perfect and orchestrated divinely just for you and the evolution of your soul.
And this experience will continue to support you in the moments,
Days,
And weeks ahead.
Simply be open to the guidance shared.
Take a moment to thank this divine messenger.
Bring your focus back to the altar of your heart.
See if there is an elevated emotion that has bubbled up as you recall your intention and received this wisdom to support you on your journey.
Go ahead and repeat your intention three times.
The practice of yoga nidra is now complete.
Bring your hands up to rest on your heart,
Bowing your chin to your chest.
Feel the pitter patter of your gorgeous heart,
Taking a moment to bow in gratitude for showing up for your gorgeous intentions this day and in the days following.
And so it is.
Begin to listen for the sounds around you.
Feel the support of the ground beneath your feet.
Feel the support of the chair.
Tune back in to your beautiful spine and the support that allows you to sit nice and tall in your seat.
Begin to introduce movement back into the body.
Wiggle those toes.
Brush your thumb across your fingertips.
You can release your hands back down to your legs.
And as you're ready,
Gently blink your eyes open.
