Hello and welcome to the manifesting perfect health meditation.
I am your guide Elizabeth Overton and I am delighted to be here with you.
This is a yoga ninja practice and is maximized by laying down and creating a perfect ninja nest to nurture you as you receive this nourishing practice.
Also to optimize the experience,
Headphones are definitely recommended.
So go ahead and grab all of your accoutrements and return to this when you are ready to give yourself this gift of sacred rest.
You might want a yoga mat,
Blankets,
Bolsters,
Eye coverings or pillows,
Incense,
Pillows,
Whatever will make you the most comfortable.
Make yourself as comfortable as humanly possible using any supports that will allow you to feel supported,
Held and comfortable.
Begin to take in the physical space with your eyes,
Noticing the walls and the physical support of the space you're in.
Lie down and as you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
As you settle in to your ninja nest,
Begin to orient yourself to the sounds outside of the space you're in and now to the sounds in the space closest to you.
Notice the sounds your body is making.
Become a witness to your own breath.
Notice its texture,
Its temperature.
Notice how your diaphragm expands and lifts as you inhale and retracts as you exhale all on its own.
Isn't it something that your lungs breathe you without you having to do a thing?
Perhaps a gentle bow and nod of appreciation is warranted at this time for all that your body does every day for you.
Breath by breath,
Moment by moment.
Ah,
Isn't it just so lovely?
Your body is energy and your body loves when you feed it gratitude and appreciation.
Can you feel yourselves clapping and applauding your kindness towards it?
They absolutely positively love this.
You,
My love,
Are designed with the blueprint for perfect health.
Today in this meditation,
We are going to connect with the free spirit of perfect health.
You are doing absolutely fabulous.
Place your hands over your heart or if you prefer one hand on the heart and one hand on the belly,
Whatever feels most comfortable to you.
And once you're there,
See if you can palpate,
Feel,
Or notice your heartbeat.
Isn't it absolutely a wonder that while you rest here,
Your lungs are breathing you and your heart is being?
What an absolute orchestration of wonder and pure delight.
You can actually rest and restore your mind,
Your body,
And your spirit,
And your body has totally got you.
Not only are your heart and lungs working their magic without you having to lift a finger,
Your energetic body or energy centers,
Also known as chakras,
Are regulating energy within and around your body too.
Your body is also regulating energy within and around your body.
In fact,
You have these energy centers in your hands,
Right in the palms of your hands.
Take your arms off of your heart now and allow them to lay alongside your body,
Palms facing up.
See if you can feel any energy circulating in your palms.
You may notice the energy as temperature,
Vibration,
Colors,
Or even shapes.
Whatever you notice is just right for your experience.
Your hand chakras are extensions of your heart energy.
Allow yourself to remember this as you move throughout your day.
And just imagine every time you use your hands,
Your hands are circulating and sending energy from your heart.
You,
My love,
Are so powerful.
And it doesn't hurt remembering also the power of touch,
Especially when you place your hands on your own heart.
It's very powerful.
Or if you place your hands in the hands of another,
Or if you place your hands in the hands of another,
Or if you simply place a hand on the back of someone you love.
The practice of Yoga Nidra begins now.
Let us travel to your wonderful heart.
Imagine that you are visiting the inside of your wondrous heart.
You are seated right in the center of your heart in the most luxurious lounge chair you have ever experienced.
It is soft,
Cozy,
And supportive.
Take a look-see.
What else do you notice in this sacred chamber of harmony?
I see loads of tropical plants and a gorgeous waterfall,
And of course,
A huge sun radiating its beams.
What do you see?
If anything,
Whatever you notice,
Whatever you experience,
Is perfect just for you.
You're warm and safe and relaxed and excited to be able to receive this intimate vantage point of your wondrous body.
Take a scan of your body and notice what you notice.
As you take in the surroundings of your fabulous ticker,
I want to offer a sankalpa,
Or affirmation,
For you to repeat three times with intention and curiosity for this practice.
If you are already working with a sankalpa,
Feel free to use that.
We will repeat that sankalpa now.
I am well.

See if you can get one percent more comfortable now.
Allow your body to be fully supported.
Allow yourself to feel gravity.
Can you get one percent more in your body to feel fully here?
You are supported.
We are going to release some tension now with progressive muscle relaxation.
We will begin with your toes.
Go ahead and squeeze your toes.
Squeeze,
Squeeze,
Squeeze,
Squeeze,
And let them go.
Now squeeze your toes,
Your lower legs,
And your upper legs.
Tighten,
Tighten,
Tighten,
Tighten,
Squeeze,
Squeeze,

That's it,
And let it go.
Now squeeze your seat.
Squeeze,
Squeeze,

Tighten it up and release.
Now tense up your torso,
Your back,
Your shoulders,
And your chest.
Squeeze it all together.

Now squeeze that beautiful face.
Crunch up your lips,
Your nose,
Your cheeks,
Your brow,
And your forehead.
Pucker up.
Wrinkle it all up.
And now let it go.
Release it.
On this final round,
Squeeze everything at once from your toes to your scalp.
Ready?

Give it everything you have.

Let it go.
Allow all of that stored up tension to fall away.
Let it melt.
Do you feel even heavier now?
Fully supported?
We will now take a few rounds of breath together.
Go ahead and exhale all the air from your lungs.
Beautiful.
Now inhale through your nose.
Big,
Big,
Big breath into the nose.
Fill your belly like a balloon and release it.
Beautiful.
Two more times.
Inhale through the nose.
Allow that belly to expand as much as it wants to and release.
One final breath together.
Inhale through the nose.
Fill the belly.
Release it.
Take a moment to notice what you notice.
We will journey through the vast,
Sacred real estate of your amazing body one part at a time with a rotation of consciousness.
As I name each body part,
Simply take your attention to that part or imagine you are traveling to each part as we go.
You'll get the hang of it,
I promise.
I do want to share that it is quite common for individuals to fall asleep during this practice and then it's absolutely okay.
You will receive all of the wonderful benefits either way.
In fact,
One session of yoga nidra is the equivalent of three hours of REM sleep.

The left and right buttocks,
Your pelvis,
Your low back,
Your mid back,
Your upper back,
Your shoulder blades,
The curve of your neck,
The back of your head.
Bring your awareness to your forehead,
Your eyebrow center,
Your right eyebrow,
Your left eyebrow,
Both eyebrows together,
Your right eye,
Your left eye,
Your right eye,
Your left eye,
Both eyes together,
Your right eye,
Your left eye,
Both eyes together,
The bridge of your nose,
Your right nostril,
Your left nostril,
The tip of your nose,
Your whole nose,
Your upper lip,
Your upper lip,
Your teeth,
Your tongue,
Your upper palate,
Your right jaw,
Your left jaw,
Your chin,
Your right ear,
Your left ear,
The space between your ears.
Bring your awareness of your throat.
Notice the right side of your throat,
The left side of your throat,
Your whole throat together.
Move your awareness into your chest.
Notice your right lung,
Your left lung,
Both lungs together.
Notice your heart.
Move your awareness to your upper abdominal area,
Your lower belly,
Pelvis,
The tops of both thighs,
Both of your knees,
And both shins,
The tops of both of your feet,
And all 10 toes.
Notice both legs together and your torso.
Now add your right arm from the shoulder to the fingertips,
And now your left arm from the shoulder to the fingertips.
Add your throat,
Face,
And head so that your entire body is wrapped in your awareness,
Whole body awareness,
Whole body awareness.
If you have fallen asleep,
This is a perfect time to come back to my words.
Your amazing body is made up of trillions of cells.
Your cells are the worker bees of everything that occurs in your body.
When your cells are healthy,
They can perform their tasks with ease and flow.
When your cells become unwell,
It's harder for them to perform their tasks.
We are going to mentally rehearse or visualize that all of your cells are well and vibrant and healthy.
You see,
When the neurons in your brain fire together,
They wire together.
In the very act of mental rehearsal or visualizations,
Activate the same neurons in your brain that are activated when you're physically doing an activity.
What this means is that by visualizing your cells are healthy,
Creates that reality.
Imagine now that your higher self or whatever higher power you believe in is just above your body,
Holding a lit candle.
In your imagination,
Reach up with your own candle and light it from the flame of your higher self or your higher power.
Imagine taking this candle into your heart where you light the first cell that you see.
You release the visual of the candle now as you witness that one cell that you lit lights another and another and another and another.
Pretty soon,
Pretty soon,
Every cell that is lit inside of your heart travels out from your heart into your blood vessels and lights every single cell on its path until your entire being is lit up with this light,
A perfect blend of energy,
Nutrients,
Oxygen,
And vitality.
Allow yourself to drink this in.
Allow yourself to feel the feeling of every single trillion cells in your body being lit up with perfect frequency of light and radiance and well-being in the perfect blend.
Now let's have a little fun with this light that you have created and anointed every cell in your entire being.
Imagine that the light is concentrated now as a small flicker in your heart.
In your heart,
Just a little flicker of a flame,
The energy and the light is super condensed and focused into a tiny little flame inside your heart.
And now begin to dial that light up a little more.
How big does your light get?
If you imagine that you're dialing up the light in every cell,
Turning each light in every cell as high as it will go,
How far does the light reach?
Does it expand to the four corners of the room?
And now can you play with pulling it back into a little flicker of a flame inside your heart?
And can you take it out back again to the four corners of the room?
And now bring it back to your heart.
Absolutely wonderful.
You are doing great.
Whole body being,
Whole body resonance,
Whole body healing,
Whole body happy,
Healthy,
And free.
Bring your attention to your eyebrow center.
We are going to play a little more with some visualizations.
As I say the word or phrase,
Imagine the scene in your mind.
A buzzing bumblebee,
Fluttering butterfly,
Hovering hummingbird,
Glistening water of a lake,
A sleeping puppy,
A giggling baby,
A kitten purring,
Sunrise on the beach,
A crackling fire,
Snow-capped mountains,
A field of wildflowers blowing in the wind.
Wonderful.
Bring your attention back to your eyebrow center and ask yourself,
Ask your higher self,
Your higher power,
What does perfect health look like for you?
What do you see?
Allow a message,
Perhaps a symbol,
A word,
A color,
To come to you now about your perfect health.
Whatever shows up for you is just right for you in this experience.
Bring your attention to your heart now and repeat your Sankalpa three times.
I am well.

Feel the support.
Beneath your body,
Notice the weight of your body on the earth.
Feel the air on your skin.
Hear the sound of your breath.
Listen for the sounds around you.
Begin to bring gentle movement into your body.
Whittle your toes.
Brush your thumb across your fingertips.
Gently rock your head from side to side.
And if it feels good,
Extend your entire body out for a big,
Long stretch.
Coming back into your physical body and the space.
As you are ready,
Roll over onto your right side using your arm as a pillow.
You are welcome to stay here as long as you like.

Gently push yourself up into a comfortable seat.
If you are comfortable,
You are ready to start your day.
Gently push yourself up into a comfortable seat.
Gather your hands over your heart.
Take a gentle bow,
Tucking your chin to your chest.
The light in me honors the light in you.
I bow to you in your divine perfection,
And I acknowledge you for taking this time to carve out some time for sacred rest and perfect health.

And your cells respond to the food you provide.
