This yoga nidra is a treat for your imagination and is quite relaxing too. A sacred firefly is your guide as you travel through the practice which includes the 61 Point Shava Yatra Body Scan as well as a trip to visit a lovely tree house in a magical forest. The nidra is combined with the powerful "Magic in 528 Hz" music of Chris Collins. It is believed that the 528 Hz solfeggio frequency is the frequency of love and has many healing abilities.

Hello and welcome to your practice.

My name is Lisbeth and I am so delighted you are here.

My intention for this practice is to help you move towards a state of inner peace with the support and creativity of a sacred firefly.

And ultimately for you to reach a state of coherence which is a sense of unified wholeness that arises naturally when you are in a full state of presence.

You will want to do this practice lying down so go ahead and grab all the accoutrements that will support you in making a very comfortable nidra nest,

Pillows,

Bolsters,

Blankets,

Socks,

Crystals,

Essential oils,

Incense,

Whatever will make you the most comfortable possible.

Lying down will serve you the best.

Go ahead and lie down making yourself the most comfortable in your nidra nest.

As you hunker into your nest let us journey through your senses to become more physically present.

As you are ready close down your eyes and allow your eyelids to become heavy and soft.

Notice with your eyes closed what you see.

Perhaps a vast void of darkness,

Vast spaciousness.

See if you can relax your eyeballs into their sockets.

Notice the skin between your brows.

See if you can soften the skin between the brows.

Allow your jaw to loosen.

Notice the sensation of what's supporting you and see if you can allow gravity to sink you a little deeper into your nidra nest.

Feel the air on your skin.

Feel the different textures brushing up against your body.

Notice the aroma in the space.

Notice your mouth and any lingering taste you identify on your tongue.

Notice the sounds furthest away from you.

And now those sounds closest to you.

Begin to tune in to the sound of the rising and falling of your breath.

And listen for the beat of your heart.

Take a cleansing breath in through your nose.

And open your mouth side out.

Beautiful.

Inhale through the nose,

Fill the belly.

Exhale side out.

And one more time at your own pace,

Inhale through the nose,

Fill the belly.

And exhale.

Allow the shoulders to release from the ears.

Tuck those scapula lower down into your back pockets.

Give yourself full permission to be here now.

And for this experience of sacred rest.

You can allow your mind and your body to let go completely.

There is nothing for you to do and nothing for you to figure out.

And I promise I will take really good care of you.

Allow my voice to be your guide.

And know that if you fall asleep,

You will still receive the benefits.

However,

If you can remain awake and aware,

It will definitely amplify your experience.

Most importantly,

Enjoy yourself and have fun.

We now begin the practice of yoga nidra.

We will begin the practice by cultivating an elevated emotion.

What elevated emotion wants to come through you in this experience?

Whatever comes into your consciousness is the right one for you.

Perhaps passion,

Excitement,

Fun,

Gratitude,

Joy,

Curiosity,

Love,

Expansive.

Nothing is off limits.

Go nuts.

As you conjure up,

Think about,

Feel into this elevated emotion,

I want you to hone your focus to your physical body.

Do you notice any areas that are lighting up or calling your attention with specific sensations?

Whatever elevated emotion you are cultivating,

Experiencing,

Perhaps you notice a fluttering in your belly,

That feeling of butterflies in the belly,

Or perhaps your heart begins to speed up with excitement.

Maybe you're not noticing this elevated emotion in your body,

Rather you're noticing a visual.

Maybe when you cultivate this elevated emotion of passion,

You see red colors.

Maybe you actually see a person.

I want you to turn up the dial just a little more on this elevated emotion.

Like how big can this elevated emotion become?

Does it have a texture?

Is it bumpy?

Is it silky?

Is it rocky?

What is it?

Does it have a texture?

Does it have a color?

Maybe it has multiple colors.

Really turn up the dial on this elevated emotion.

See if this emotion can fill up your whole entire body from head to toe and then completely fill your auric field,

That egg shape all the way around your whole entire body.

Maybe this emotion can become so big that it goes to the four corners of the room you're in.

Really turn up this elevated emotion.

Allow this elevated emotion to bubble up in your heart space and like honey,

It drips down into every nook and cranny of your body.

And like a fountain,

It spews up from your heart space into your throat and into your head all the way out through your crown and around your whole entire being.

And pretty soon this elevated emotion is pulsating through your entire body and expanding way beyond your body.

As you sit at the altar of this incredible elevated emotion,

I want you to call to mind a resolve or a sankalpa.

A sankalpa is something that you would like to work towards or manifest in your current life.

A sankalpa typically begins with the words I am followed by a positive statement in the present tense.

If you already are working with a sankalpa,

You can go ahead and call that to mind.

And if you would like some guidance on this and nothing's coming up for you,

No problem.

A beautiful sankalpa for this practice could be I am free to experience peace.

I am free to experience peace.

I am free to experience peace.

Whatever your sankalpa or resolve is,

Go ahead and say it to yourself three times.

We are now going to practice something called rotation of consciousness.

This process allows your focus to draw inward.

By becoming more present with your physical body allows your mind to relax.

It is very common for individuals to fall in and out of sleep during rotation of consciousness and that is completely okay.

If that happens,

You will still receive the benefits and you simply pick up with my voice when you come back.

As I name each body part,

Simply take your awareness to that place.

Bring your attention to your brow center.

Center of the throat.

Right shoulder joint.

Right elbow joint.

Right wrist joint.

Tip of the right thumb.

Tip of the right index finger.

Tip of the right middle finger.

Tip of the right ring finger and tip of the right pinky finger.

Center of the right wrist.

Center of the right elbow.

Center of the right shoulder.

Center of the throat.

Left shoulder joint.

Left elbow joint.

Left wrist joint.

Tip of the left thumb.

Tip of the left index finger.

Tip of the left middle finger.

Tip of the left ring finger and tip of the left pinky finger.

Center of the left wrist.

Center of the left elbow.

Center of the left shoulder.

Center of the throat.

Center of the chest.

Heart center.

Solar plexus.

Navel center.

Right hip joint.

Right knee joint.

Right ankle joint.

Right big toe.

Tip of the second toe.

Tip of the third toe.

Tip of the fourth toe.

And tip of the fifth toe.

Center of the right ankle.

Center of the right knee.

Center of the right hip.

Navel center.

Left hip joint.

Left knee joint.

Left ankle joint.

Left big toe.

Tip of the second toe.

Tip of the third toe.

Tip of the fourth toe.

And tip of the fifth toe.

Center of the left ankle.

Center of the left knee.

Center of the left hip.

Navel center.

Solar plexus.

Center of the throat.

Heart center.

Morale center.

We are going to repeat the rotation of consciousness,

Except this time a very special being is going to join us.

A magical firefly.

Now you can certainly call in a butterfly,

A dragonfly,

A ladybug,

If that resonates more with you.

Do what you feel called to do and it will be just right.

This firefly is a very,

Very special being and it has arrived to help you lighten your load.

Each time I name a body part,

Imagine this magical firefly touching down on the body part as I name it,

You see this firefly has a ginormous light attached to it.

And every time it touches down on your body,

It's looking for tension and stress and anything that is no longer serving you,

Especially any stuck or stagnant energy.

And within seconds,

As this light exposes any of that in the body,

It immediately dissolves it with its golden light and returns to the earth to be recycled for something better.

So call on your magical friend.

And here we go.

Allow the firefly to land on your eyebrow center,

Illuminating everything in its circle.

The firefly takes flight to land on the center of your throat,

Lighting that up with its powerful light,

Dissolving anything that does not belong to you.

Moving on,

The firefly lands on the right shoulder joint,

Right elbow joint,

Right wrist joint,

Tip of the right thumb,

Tip of the right index finger,

Tip of the right middle finger,

Tip of the right ring finger,

And tip of the right pinky finger.

Center of the right wrist,

Center of the right elbow,

Center of the right shoulder.

Now your entire arm and fingers are beaming with light.

Anything that is ready to leave melts away into the earth.

And the firefly lands on the center of your throat and flies over to land on your left shoulder joint,

Left elbow joint,

Left wrist joint,

The tip of the left thumb,

Tip of the left index finger,

Tip of the left middle finger,

Tip of the left ring finger,

And tip of the left pinky finger.

The center of the left wrist,

Center of the left elbow,

Center of the left shoulder.

Now your entire left arm and fingers are beaming with light.

All tension and stress that's no longer useful melts into the earth.

Both of your arms and fingers are twinkling with light.

The firefly returns to land on the center of the throat,

The center of the chest,

The heart center,

The solar plexus,

The navel center.

The firefly lands on your right hip joint,

Right knee joint,

Right ankle joint,

The right big toe,

Tip of the second toe,

Tip of the third toe,

Tip of the fourth toe,

And tip of the fifth toe,

Center of the right ankle,

Center of the right knee,

And center of the right hip.

Now your entire torso and right leg and arms and fingers are beaming with radiant golden light,

All tension and stress that's no longer useful melts into the earth.

The firefly lands on your navel center,

Left hip joint,

Left knee joint,

Left ankle joint,

And the firefly makes its way to your left big toe,

The tip of your second toe,

The tip of your third toe,

The tip of your fourth toe,

And the tip of your fifth toe,

And back to the center of your left ankle,

Center of your left knee,

Center of your left hip.

Your entire torso and left leg and arms and fingers are beaming with the most radiant golden healing light.

All tension and stress that's no longer useful melts into the earth.

The firefly lands on your navel center,

Your solar plexus,

The center of your throat,

Your heart center.

And now the firefly makes its final landing on your eyebrow center.

Your whole body is pulsing with the brilliant healing golden light.

All tension and stress that's no longer useful melts into the earth.

Allow the circulation of this healing golden light to pulse throughout your entire being.

Feel the expansion of energy that that firefly has anointed with light in every nook and cranny of your body.

Feel the expansion and contraction of light as it pulses in and around yourselves.

Feel this expansion of light and contraction in your blood,

In your tissues,

In your organs,

In your skin,

In your energy field.

Feel the flow of life force as you witness your breath flowing in and out with zero effort.

Notice the wave of your breath.

Notice the rise and fall of your breath.

Notice the texture of your breath.

As you allow this golden healing light to course through your body,

We're going to explore a variety of emotions using pairs of opposites.

Allow yourself to explore these different emotions.

I will bring you back each time.

Bring your attention to your eyebrow center,

The seat of your intuition.

For good measure,

Your magical firefly lands briefly at your brow center to high five you to keep going on this magical journey.

You're doing a wonderful job.

Call forth the experience of apathy,

The sensation of numbness or having no feeling.

What does the emotion of apathy bring forth within you?

Have you ever experienced the sensation of not feeling something?

Where do you notice the sensation of apathy in your body?

Does it bring about a picture or a person or perhaps a situation in your life?

Whatever shows up is okay.

And now I want you to release the experience of apathy.

Release it,

Let it go.

Call forth the experience of passion.

Deep seated,

Palpable passion.

What does passion feel like to you?

What arises when you tap into the emotion of passion?

A physical sensation,

A symbol,

A color,

A person,

An experience,

A way of being?

Whatever floats into your experience is just right,

Soak it all in.

Allow that to arise and simply notice what you notice.

And now release the experience of passion.

Let it go.

Bring your attention back to your eyebrow center.

Of course,

Your Firefly friend is here to greet you with a wink and two flashes of light letting you know you're doing a phenomenal job and to keep going.

Call forth the experience of concern.

What do you notice when you allow this emotion to arise within yourself?

Do you feel a physical sensation?

Does a certain person,

Place or situation come to mind?

Does this emotion create the sensation of similar emotions to rush in such as worry or anxiety?

Allow this experience to show you what it wants you to see,

Feel,

Sense,

Know or hear.

And now release the experience of concern.

Let it go.

And now call forth the experience of being carefree.

If you are free of specific cares or concerns,

What are you feeling,

Thinking,

Doing and who are you being?

Does being carefree light up any areas in your physical body?

Does it bring up any images,

Symbols,

Individuals or experiences?

Allow the sensation of being carefree to permeate your entire being.

And now release this experience.

Let it go.

Bring your attention back to your eyebrow center,

The seat of your intuition.

Allow your intuitive vision to magnify in your mind's eye as you visualize a magical forest.

Your firefly is here to take you on one final excursion to the most magnificent treehouse in the center of a star studded sky in this majestic forest.

You follow the firefly to the stairs of this magnificent treehouse.

You climb the stairs to arrive at the door of this treehouse.

You open the door and are instantly blown away by the wonder and delight of the magnificence of the scene before you.

The treehouse sits high above the trees on a stable foundation and there is a wide opening in the roof that lends itself to a front row seat to the heavens,

The galaxies,

The infinite and the billions of stars lining up the night sky.

The firefly nudges you to nestle into the comfort of the viewing deck lined with the most luxurious pillows,

Blankets and cushions.

You settle in and take your gaze to the heavens.

You begin to notice the constellations taking shape and then you notice thousands of lights coming together to form shapes and symbols.

You see a peace symbol and a heart and a firefly.

While you are reveling in this cosmic hug from the universe,

You realize that letters are beginning to form in the sky.

There is a message for you in the heavens on this evening.

This message is here with the answer to that burning question that resides in your heart space.

You are overcome by a wave of the most benevolent,

Unconditional love.

It's indescribable.

It just feels so comforting,

True and protective.

You breathe this in.

You soak this end to the soul of your being.

You feel supported in this moment.

You allow the sensation of support,

Guidance and light to course through every cell of your being.

You feel expansive and connected to the heavens and the earth.

You feel whole.

You feel connected to something greater.

You feel held.

From this grounded and expansive space,

Recall your sankalpa that you declared at the beginning of this practice.

Read it to yourself three times.

Your firefly friend comes over to you for one last visit and you share a moment of deep gratitude for how much magic and playfulness the firefly brought into your experience.

You promise the firefly that you will continue to be open to the possibilities that arise when you remember to play full out and more often and to not take on the troubles of life all by yourself and that you will ask for support more often.

The firefly flies away into the night sky and you roll over onto your right side and as your heart kisses the earth,

You feel the emergence of a grin forming inside your heart signaling to your body that the practice of yoga nidra is now complete.

You begin to come back into this time and space.

You feel the weight of your body on the surface that you're lying on.

You feel the air on your skin.

You notice the sounds of your heartbeat and the wave of your breath.

You notice the sounds closest to you and the ones farther away.

You begin to circle your hands and wrists and your ankles and toes.

Brush your thumb across your fingertips and give yourself a big stretch if that feels good.

As you are ready,

You can gently open your eyes and make your way to a comfortable seat.

Place your hands together in prayer pose and gently bring your thumbs to rest against your sternum.

Taking a moment of gratitude for yourself for making the time for this sacred practice of rest.

I thank you for your trust and for allowing me to guide you through this practice.

This is a practice that you can come back to again and again and again and again.

My wish for you is that you may know peace,

You may know compassion,

And that you may feel whole.

Thank you🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻I LOVED the playfulness of the firefly. However, rather than doing the rotation of consciousness twice, I would have preferred spending time on exploring other koshas.🙏🏻✨🙏🏻🌟🙏🏻💫🙏🏻
