
Restorative Guided Theta Practice: For Sleep
If you have difficulty falling asleep and settling down before bed, this meditation has been created to help you relax and let go, allowing your mind and body to discover the power of restorative sleep. This is a beautiful and soft, meditation, led by Lisa, with calming music in the background. Feel the immediate reduction of tension and a calming of the mind.
Transcript
I want to say everybody this meditation has been created to help induce a state of sleep,
A relaxed state,
A state in which helps the mind to release and relax and flow into a state of bliss,
A state that allows the mind to let go and to release,
A state that allows the body to relax,
Let go,
A state that allows the conscious waking mind to fall into the background so that a deep state of sleep can be induced so that the body can go into a state of restoration so that the body can rebuild,
So that the organs can relax,
So that the nervous system can relax,
So that the endocrine system can relax,
So that our skin can relax,
So that our stomachs and intestines can relax.
The state of sleep is a much needed state and the more relaxed the mind,
The deeper the sleep,
The more restful and the more restored we can be.
Please begin by taking a gentle breath in through your nose,
Do not force,
And then exhale gently with the mouth.
Again,
Preparing for sleep,
Take a breath in through the nose and then exhale through the mouth.
One more time,
In through the nose and then exhale with the mouth.
It is important to note that only a relaxed mind can take a breath deliberately and control the breath deliberately.
Deliberately,
Purposefully,
Taking breaths in through the nose sends a signal to the brain that all is well.
We have the power to prepare the conscious mind and the brain for sleep as we prepare to enter a much deserved and needed restorative state.
We will begin at the top of your head and scan your body until the mind releases.
Let's go.
Bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Feel the top of your head.
Become aware of the top of your head.
Relax the top of your head.
Feel and become aware of the back of your head.
Relax the back of your head.
Imagine the back of your head laying on a pillow of golden light.
Imagine this light is bathing the top of your head.
Imagine this pillow of light grabbing bands of energy all around your head.
Imagine your mind being bathed with this beautiful golden light.
Imagine this light being pulled through you,
Washing over the conscious field.
Just shushing thoughts away.
Feel your thoughts becoming sleepier and sleepier.
Imagine your thoughts yawning,
Becoming tired.
Sleepier and sleepier.
Imagine the light dancing through the conscious field,
Making sure that all the thoughts are sleeping and fading.
Imagine your conscious mind becoming sleepier and sleepier and sleepier.
Imagine like a newborn baby who has exhausted themselves,
Buzzing,
And now just wants to sleep.
Imagine this light filling the conscious field with more energy.
Feeling soothed,
Feeling loved,
And feeling bathed in this energy.
Feel your eyes heavier and heavier and heavier.
Relax the jaw as your entire face prepares for sleep,
As the muscles release and let go,
As tension melts from your body and is absorbed by the light,
Allowing the light to absorb any tension,
Any stress,
Any worries,
Any concerns,
Any faulty ideas that do not serve you.
Imagine the light absorbing fears and anxiety,
Negative thoughts,
Self-limiting beliefs,
Self-sabotaging thoughts.
Imagine the light absorbing it all,
Loving you,
Nurturing you.
The light loves you.
The light nurtures you.
The light is there for you.
Your body is growing heavier and heavier.
The muscles around your eyebrows release and relax,
Release and relax.
The muscles of your neck and lower jaw release and relax.
Your shoulders,
Your spine,
The back of your head,
The back of your legs,
Your calves,
The back of your feet,
Your ankles.
Feel heavier,
Sinking,
Sinking,
Sinking into beautiful,
Nurturing,
Restorative sleep state where your energy will bathe in restorative energy,
In a conscious state,
A restorative sleep,
A state of consciousness designed to replenish you,
To love you,
So that your being can be brought back to a state of harmony and restoration.
This state allows you to re-energize and to reboot yourself.
This sleep state is a loving state,
A state designed to allow you to release yourself from others' traumas,
Others' energies.
This sleep state has been designed for you.
It is a gift to you,
And through your will you can help bring your body into a beautiful,
Restorative sleep state.
You are worthy of sleep,
You are worthy of restoration,
You are worthy of peace,
You are worthy of joy,
You are worthy of abundance.
Your body is sinking,
You feel heavier,
Sleepier,
Relaxed,
Listening to my voice,
Releasing all attachments to the outside world,
Loving the connections within,
Drawing your attention within,
Any attachments,
Like a child would release a helium balloon.
There is no forcing,
There is no pushing,
There is only release and let go,
Release and let go.
Oftentimes,
When we worry,
The mind believes it must worry more in an attempt to control an outcome.
Yet,
Worry induces full worry,
Releasing worry,
Releases tension,
The need to control,
And the fear of the unknown.
We can let go,
We can let go,
We can love,
We can meditate.
We can pray,
We can send good intentions,
We can love ourselves,
We can love the planet,
We can arrange our mind in a healthy way.
We can organize our lives in a healthy way.
We can mind our own business,
Allow people to be who they are.
We can love ourselves,
Set loving boundaries,
We can focus on beautiful things,
We can love our planet.
We can take care of ourselves,
Honor one another's past,
Lives,
Choices,
Decisions.
We can let go of criticisms,
False finding of ourselves and others.
We can choose to not be judgmental of ourselves and others.
We can choose to better ourselves,
To stay in our own lane.
We can choose to eat well,
To honor the body,
To give the body what it needs,
To respect the body,
To respect its physical needs,
We have that power.
The more we organize our lives,
The more respect we have for the divine vehicle the human body is,
The more we respect the universe,
The planet,
Plant life,
Animal life,
Human life,
The more loving we are,
The more peaceful we are,
The less chaos,
Gossip we engage in,
The less anxious our bodies and our minds are,
The more we nurture self,
The more we nurture the mind,
The more organized the mind,
The easier it is to sleep.
We have free will,
We are extensions of the tree of life,
We have the power to organize our lives,
We have the power to respect our bodies,
To be wise,
To make healthy choices,
We have the power to be peaceful,
Sleep is a restorative state when we enter sleep.
When we enter the sleep state,
Bringing with us healing thoughts,
Healing,
Loving,
Nurturing thoughts,
We bring these thoughts with us into the subconscious mind.
The subconscious mind only accepts tanna,
Knowing that sleep is beneficial,
It is nurturing,
It is loving,
It is designed by creator to help restore balance,
And especially when we have yet to learn how to condition the mind into a state of conscious relaxation.
Sleep can help restore a state of harmony that is much needed.
The better our sleep,
The more clear our thoughts,
The more calm our endocrine system,
The less inflammation we feel in the body,
The more able we are to connect with Source in our waking hours,
The more loving we can be during our waking hours,
The more the subconscious mind understands the glorious benefits of sleep,
The more willing it will be to sleep,
The more powerful it will be when it is time to sleep.
Sleep is a gift,
It is a default setting necessary for a peaceful human experience.
It is good to find ways,
Natural,
Healthy ways to induce sleep,
Sleep restores balance,
Sleep replenishes your body,
Sleep allows you to discharge unwanted energy,
Sleep relaxes the brain and helps balance the hemispheres of the brain,
It is good to sleep,
It is good to replenish.
The sleep state is a loving state,
A harmonious state,
The body is heavier now,
More relaxed,
More able to echo,
Honoring sleep,
Honoring the magnificent design of sleep,
Honoring the body from head to toe,
Tension has been leaving your body bit by bit through every pore of your skin,
Relaxing your skin,
Reducing tension,
Allowing the cells of your body to relax and release tension,
As your entire being relaxes,
Every cell of every organ relaxes,
Every ounce of tension has been leaving your body through cell membranes,
Traveling through your circulatory system and leaving your body through energy points,
As well as through the pores of your skin,
Your skin is a breathing organ,
The largest organ of your body and as you relax more deeply now,
Energy,
Unwanted,
Unnecessary energy,
Energy has not in alignment with peace and harmony,
Has been leaving and has been restored by more balanced,
Peaceful,
Loving,
Understanding and nurturing energy,
Imagine your auric field,
Breathing in golden,
Bright light,
Imagine being wrapped in a tube of golden,
Bright energy,
You have created this energy,
You have welcomed this energy,
By the power of intention and free will,
You have welcomed love and healing,
Restorative energy to come into you,
To transform you,
And to nurture you into a deserved,
Restorative state,
As you continue to drift deeper and deeper and deeper,
This golden,
Bright energy that now infiltrates your personal aura,
Will continue to bathe you,
