Hello!
Welcome to this meditation for new beginnings.
It's a time to reflect,
Release,
And set some intentions.
This practice is about honoring where you've been,
Celebrating growth,
And stepping into what's next with clarity and purpose.
As we move through breathwork and visualization,
Let's embrace the themes of endings,
Integration,
And transformation.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position.
You can be seated or lying down,
Whatever feels good to you.
And when you're ready,
Close your eyes.
Now breathing here,
Just in through the nose and out through the nose,
Allow your body to soften.
Feel the ground beneath you,
Steady and supportive.
Just letting go of any tension you may be holding on to as you relax into your space.
Now take a nice long slow inhale in through the nose,
And then exhale slowly.
Do that again,
Nice long and slow intentional breath,
Feeling your lungs expand,
Bringing yourself into your body.
And then let that go,
Settling deeper into this moment.
Let's start by just really calming our breath down and allowing us to be in our bodies.
Inhale in for one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Now hold.
And exhale slowly for six.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Breathe in again for four,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold for four.
And release for six.
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Now continue this on your own,
Breathing in for four,
Holding for four,
And releasing for six.
And as you do,
Imagine drawing in calm and clarity,
And exhaling out any of that tension or worry that you're holding on to,
Just allowing your body to relax further with each breath.
Now let that breath work go,
And just find your rhythm,
Continuing to notice the rise and fall of your belly,
And imagine yourself standing at the threshold of a doorway.
The door is open,
And you can feel a gentle breeze coming in.
You step through the door,
And you find yourself in a peaceful sunlit garden.
Take a moment to look around.
Notice the colors,
The scents,
The feeling of warmth on your skin.
This garden represents your inner world,
Your hopes,
Your dreams,
Your growth.
As you walk through this space,
Imagine holding a small satchel.
Inside are experiences and lessons of the year.
Pause for a moment here,
Just to acknowledge them.
Looking into the bag,
Start to pull things out.
The things you are grabbing are things you're ready to release.
Picture yourself taking each experience,
Each feeling you no longer need,
And just placing it gently into the earth.
What do you want to release?
Take it out of your bag now,
And plant it in the soil.
Holding your bag here,
You notice it's lighter now.
So,
You look in again,
And you start to pull out things that you want to invite into your life.
The feelings you want to cultivate,
The dreams you have,
The hopes,
How you want to show up for yourself each day.
As you pull things out of the bag,
Visualize yourself planting seeds in this garden.
Seeds of intention,
Of growth,
And purpose.
Allow yourself to feel the joy and fulfillment they bring.
Begin to plant the seeds now of all the things you want to invite into your life.
Having taken the time to let go,
To release what no longer serves you,
And to plant seeds for all of the things you want to bring into your life.
Now,
Take a moment here to think of a word.
This word represents what you want to bring into this time,
How you want to feel.
Let it form clearly in your mind.
This word will serve as your guide,
A mantra for the time ahead.
What word represents you right now?
Hold on to that word now.
Stepping into this time with courage and resilience and adaptability,
Know that you have chosen how you want to feel.
Focusing on your breath here,
We're going to invite in some gentle affirmations.
We're going to breathe in strength and clarity,
And release doubt and fear.
To solidify this feeling.
Now repeat silently,
I release what no longer serves me.
I honor my growth and all of the lessons I learn.
I step forward with purpose and intention.
I trust myself and the path ahead.
Now take a nice long slow inhale in here,
And let that go.
Take a moment to bring yourself back into the room gently.
Just noticing where you are,
How you feel,
And bring forward that word that represents you one more time,
Holding on to it.
Now slowly start to bring movement back into your body,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes.
Take one more nice long slow inhale in,
Exhale it out completely,
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes,
And carry this sense of calm and clarity with you into every day ahead.
Thank you so much for meditating with me today.
I hope you have a wonderful day,
And I hope you meditate with me.
Have a beautiful day.
