Hello,

And welcome to a guided meditation on tuning into your senses.

Take a moment to get comfortable,

And when you're ready,

Float your eyes closed.

Find a tall posture with the crown of your head reaching towards the sky,

And allow your shoulders to drop down away from the ears.

Place your hands gently on the knees with palms facing down.

Take a deep breath in through the nose,

Filling all the way down into the base of your belly.

And a long,

Slow breath out of the mouth,

Exhale.

Do that one more time.

Deep breath in through the nose,

Fill all the way up.

And a slow breath out of the mouth,

Exhale.

And then start to tune into the natural rhythm of your breath.

See if you can hear the sound of your inhale breath and the sound of your exhale breath.

Notice what outside noises you can hear around you.

See if you're able to hear the faint sound of your heartbeat.

Shift your attention now to the hands.

Keep the hands steady on the knees,

But begin to notice the texture of the material beneath your hands.

Notice the temperature of your hands and the weight of your hands on your legs.

And then noticing the weight of your lower body grounding down into the surface beneath you.

Bringing your attention now to the mouth,

Allow your lips to part slightly and the tongue to fall from the roof of your mouth.

Noticing any tastes or any sensations.

Really notice.

And then bringing the attention to the nose.

As you breathe in through the nose,

Checking in to see what scents you might be picking up on.

What is it that you smell?

Bringing attention now to the eyes,

Notice your eyelids softening.

Check in to see what imagery comes before you.

What is it that you see?

Moving up into the third eye,

Your space of inner wisdom and your space of intuition.

Seeing that space between the eyebrows softening.

What is it that you see for yourself?

What is it that you want for yourself?

And take a moment to scan your entire body from the crown of your head all the way down to the tips of your toes to see what sensations are running through you.

And will now hold and carry space for you so that you can sit in the stillness,

Aware and tuned in to the senses of your body.

I will call you back when it's time.

Namah Shivaya.

Aum Aum Aum Aum Aum Begin to bring your attention back into the sound of your breath.

Notice the sound of your inhale and the sound of your exhale.

Notice the sounds around you.

And then listen carefully for the sound of your heartbeat.

Bring your attention back into your hands,

Noticing the texture beneath your hands and the temperature of your hands.

The weight of your body grounding down into the surface beneath you.

Bringing your attention back to your mouth,

Noticing any sensations,

Any tastes.

Moving back up to the nose,

Noticing any smells,

Any scents in the space you're in.

Bringing the attention back to the eyes,

Recalling what imagery came before you today.

And to your third eye,

What is it that you see for yourself?

Where are you being drawn to?

Slowly take a deep breath in through the nose,

Filling your whole body with this presence and awareness.

And a long,

Slow breath out of the mouth,

Exhale.

Do that one more time,

Big breath in,

Filling all the way down to the base of your belly.

And then opening the mouth,

Exhale to release.

Slowly taking your hands together in a prayer position with your thumbs at the center of your chest.

Thanking yourself for taking this time to become present and aware,

And to get in touch with your senses.

May you enjoy the rest of this day.

Namaste.
