We are beginning your day or ending your day or even through your day with a refreshing,
Clearing meditation,
Using the energy of the waves.
Get yourself in a comfortable place.
If it's the morning,
It's possible you should just sit or do this before you get up.
If it's the evening,
This will let everything go before you go to sleep,
So lying down will be fine.
And just breathe.
Take a deep in-breath and see how slowly you can let it just fall out of your body.
Another in-breath and gently let it just fall,
Just fall out of your body.
Feel into a couple of areas where you may need extra little bits of breath to go into them for the stress moments.
Allow the muscles to relax.
Make sure your eyelids are just gently,
Gently closed,
Not tightly closed.
Deliberately loosen that.
If it's tense around your head,
Get the skin loose,
Get your forehead muscles all relaxed.
And now,
I want you to envisage that you're walking to a place where there is a lake or a gentle seaside location.
You've possibly had to drive there,
So when you get to the part where it's just sand or the edge of the water,
You see yourself standing there in bare feet,
Just where the water starts to come to the shore.
Little wavelets.
Just inch your toes forward a tiny little bit so that the wavelets are just mildly covering your toes as they come into shore and move back out again.
Just stand there knowing that you're fine.
And on your next breath in,
Gather up a whole heap of wayward thoughts from your brain and from your muscles.
On the out breath,
Let them fall all the way down your body to your toes.
Breathing in love that surrounds you and collects all of these silly thoughts,
All of these anxieties and gathers them.
And on the out breath,
Just let them drop down,
Down into your toes.
Hold an intention.
Hold the intention that on every breath this will happen and on every out breath,
All of the collective anxieties and worries are sent easily obeying gravity and dropping down into your toes.
And now let us look at what the water is doing for you.
With each wave coming in,
Notice how the wave collects the anxieties and the worries and just takes them out into the water and cleanses,
Lifts them away.
Here's another wave coming in,
Another wave to take away all of those worries and stresses that we sent down into our toes.
Another wave comes in gently,
Gathers around your toes and takes away all of the stress and just cleans it away from your body.
Let's be with this feeling for the next few minutes.
Feel it.
And now beautiful being,
It's time to come back,
It's time to be you again.
If you're going to go to sleep,
You can just turn this off and go to sleep.
If you're going into your day,
You're going into your day highly refreshed,
Having allowed this beautiful clear water to just wash away some silly stuff that didn't need to burden you.
Of course they might come back,
But you can do this meditation again,
Anytime,
In your mind or listen to me talking it to you.
