So we're really calibrating to the actual factual of this moment using our senses,
One of our senses,
The one that we want to use.
You have lots so much choice here in this moment.
How do you want to align your senses to this moment?
Sight,
Sound,
Taste,
Touch,
And so forth.
When you can already feel some sense of regulation,
That your attention can be here,
You can feel it in your nervous system,
And you'd like you can let the eyes close.
And we're still with the eyes closed,
Still attending to what is here in your experience,
In your direct experience.
It is simply true.
It is simply true that we are all together,
And it is simply true that we are apart.
And let that be what it is.
Nothing to figure out in this moment.
And if your thoughts go to things that require figuring out,
Just notice that it is a normal occurrence,
And gently bring your attention back to that which doesn't need to be figured out.
It is very simply,
Tangibly,
Viscerally true.
No concept or daydream,
But really here,
With your nervous system and brain is to know we can be here in this moment,
Can be present.
And we can feel the gravity is here,
And we're going to feel that through what's making contact with our bodies,
Floor,
Bed,
Chair,
And so forth.
We can feel ourselves being supported very tangibly.
It's what this field of gravity does for us.
It holds us,
And we can feel the holding and the support very tangibly when we drop into our felt experience of this moment.
It's not a concept.
It's not a fantasy.
It's real.
The fullness of this moment with what is holding your body,
Which is behind you or under you.
It's also simply here,
Lifting your body up,
Releasing out.
No need to alter the breath or change it.
Maybe it doesn't feel so good.
I'm going to invite you to look past the quality of the breath in this moment.
Just notice the actualness of this moment's breath.
It is a fact that it is happening in this moment.
So bring your attention to the support that breath is issuing for,
At this tangible floor,
Bed,
Couch,
Whatever under us or behind us.
We've got this also very tangible and ethereal movement of breath.
We sit back and let breath breathe us.
We know that breath breathes us at night when we go to sleep.
We know we don't have to manage it when we go to sleep.
While we're awake in this moment,
Can we release anything that's getting in the way of letting breath have us?
Really letting breath have us,
Letting gravity have us.
Can you give your managing self a little break here?
She can come back later.
They can come back later.
But for now,
Can you give yourself permission to not manage breath,
Manage being supported in this moment?
