Hello,
Welcome to this guided affirmations practice for your first trimester of pregnancy.
This meditation has been designed with love and with the intention of both healing and helping you to connect with the spirit of your baby.
Even though the first trimester is such a blessing and often filled with so much excitement and gratitude,
There are times where it can be extremely difficult and challenging too.
Even so,
You've most certainly come to the right place to allow these experiences to intertwine.
I'm getting yourself comfortable now.
You're most welcome to sit or lie down for this practice.
That's whatever feels right for you in this moment.
I'm drawing your awareness to your breath now.
And I want you to imagine your breath as a wave and your body as the shore.
So as you inhale,
Watching this wave travel up your body,
Starting from your feet till it reaches your head.
And as you exhale,
Feeling that wave make its way back down your body again.
So inhaling,
Visualize the wave as it travels all the way up,
Reaching the top of your head and exhaling.
Visualize as it makes its way all the way back down.
Take a deep breath in and release.
One more time.
Inhaling,
Feeling the sensation of this wave calming you now and letting it all go with an exhale.
And the wave makes its way all the way back down to your feet.
And now,
Placing your beautiful hands on your room space and feeling the loving and healing energy radiating from your hands onto your baby.
You might like to visualize glowing green light around your hands as the color green symbolizes healing and is the color of our heart chakra.
Sending that love,
Healing and blessings to your baby now.
And as we move through the affirmations together,
If you notice any thoughts arising,
Just returning your attention and your awareness to this healing energy from your hands connecting with your baby.
You can repeat these affirmations in your mind or just listen to my voice.
Should you drift off during this practice,
Know that the power of the healing behind these words will transmute through your sleep.
My body thrives as does my baby.
This pregnancy will end with the safe birth of my healthy baby.
My body loves pregnancy.
I was divinely chosen and called to be the mother of this child.
I am so thankful for this incredible gift.
I have complete faith in my body.
My baby feels my love and I feel their love for me.
I thrive in my pregnancy.
My body is intelligent and knows exactly how to nourish my baby.
My pregnant body makes me feel empowered.
I trust that my baby will remain in my womb for as long as they need to.
I am thankful for the protection over me and my baby during pregnancy.
I know that this connection during pregnancy will remain long after they are born.
I am proud of myself and my body's ability to fall pregnant.
I will have a positive and blissful birth experience.
I honor my body.
I trust in the wisdom of my cravings and aversions without being too hard on myself.
When my body needs rest,
I honor that to the best of my ability.
The powerful bond between mother and child strengthens with each day of my pregnancy.
My baby is healthy,
Beautiful and strong.
My baby chose me and this family for a divine purpose.
I feel positive about the changes taking place in my body,
Creating a home for my baby.
I am blessed to be transitioning from maiden to mother.
When the time is right,
My body will open gently to allow my baby to enter the world.
I am so thankful for this pregnancy.
I have total trust in the health of my baby.
In times of anxiety,
Sickness or unease,
I will lean back into this complete faith.
Thank you for this gift.
I am so excited to meet my baby.
I honor this sacred journey of pregnancy.
Just allowing the powerful healing energy of these affirmations to sink right into your womb space and into your entire body now.
In allowing for any messages that your baby may have for you in this moment.
Remember they may communicate in different ways,
Through color,
Through a feeling,
Just trusting if anything does come through to you now.
And should you have any special messages for your baby,
Sharing these with them and allowing them to feel that love and gratitude that they have chosen you.
And as we come to the end of this affirmation practice,
Returning to your breath.
Feeling as the waves rise and fall as you inhale and exhale.
Taking as long as you need and when you're ready opening your eyes.
