Hello and welcome to this guided sleep induction practice,
A journey to the melatonin room.
It is my honor to be your guide in this journey to sleep.
When you're ready just getting yourself in a position that is of optimum comfort for you,
Making sure you're warm and that you won't be disturbed.
Checking your pillows and making sure they are just right.
Looking down those beautiful eyes now and taking this journey within as you drift to sleep now.
You may find thoughts from the day come and go.
If you find yourself feeling lost in those thoughts,
Just returning to the sound of my voice and I will lead you back to this journey to sleep.
To begin let's take some cleansing breaths now to alleviate anything that remains with us from today that no longer serves us.
So in the inhale breath we will breathe in golden light through the crown of our head,
Allowing it to transmute through all of the spaces in our body.
And when we exhale releasing anything that no longer serves us through grey mist out the soles of our feet.
Breathing in,
Feel that golden healing light entering in through the top of your head and breathing out,
Allowing everything to release,
Let it all go.
And again inhaling,
Watch the golden light enter all of the sticky spots in your body and exhale,
Let it all go through the soles of your feet.
And one last time,
Breathing in and out,
Let it go,
Let it go,
Let it go.
Now in your mind's eye,
I want you to find yourself at the top of a staircase.
You feel completely calm and at ease.
So taking this time to picture what this staircase looks like,
Noticing all of the details and making your way to the first step on your way down.
And as I count down the stairs,
Every step that you take you will relax further and further,
Drifting deeper and deeper relaxed.
Watch your foot taking that first step down and you immediately feel a sensation of calm,
Peace and tranquility.
And you take a few more steps and you feel yourself drifting deeper and deeper.
You are halfway down the stairs and with every movement you feel your body completely relax.
And you are almost at the bottom now.
You feel at complete ease and trust with all that surrounds you.
And as you reach the final few steps,
We count them down together.

You are at total peace.

You feel sleepier and sleepier.
And 1.
You are completely relaxed.
Now that you have made your way to the bottom of these stairs,
You find yourself standing in front of a tall,
Dark door.
You are about to enter the melatonin room.
Melatonin is a magical hormone that induces our sleep.
You open the door,
Take in a deep breath and are immediately enveloped by the magic of melatonin.
The room is warm and you feel totally safe and secure in these four walls.
You hear the sounds of a fireplace crackling.
You look outside the window and it's snowing,
But you feel totally calm and at ease,
Safe from anything in the outside world.
And as you look over towards the fireplace,
You notice there is a beautiful bed laid out especially for you.
The sheets are just as you like them.
And the pillows exactly to your taste.
It looks so enticing,
So you make your way towards it.
And as you lie down on the bed,
Just feeling into how comfortable it is.
And you slide under the covers and snuggle right in,
Feeling how the bed moulds itself to the contours of your head.
Feeling the tingling sensations as it relaxes you down further.
You feel the comforting mould of the bed working its way around your neck and shoulders.
It's warm and inviting.
And you feel that comfort stretch down your arms into your hands and fingers.
And the tingling sensation makes its way across your chest,
Through your ribs and organs,
And slides its way down your back,
Making its way across your stomach.
And you feel so relaxed and at peace.
You feel as the bed moulds around your buttocks,
Your hips,
Your thighs,
It travels all the way down the backs of your legs,
Over your shins and all over your feet and toes.
And just enjoying this comfortable place that you have found yourself in.
You feel a pleasant drowsiness taking over you.
And with every moment that passes you find yourself feeling sleepier and sleepier.
And you feel so deeply comfortable,
Safe and relaxed that it's as if you're floating on clouds.
And with this thought you become aware that the bed beneath you is now a cloud of melatonin.
With every inhale you take,
The sleep hormone enters through your system.
And as you exhale it spreads gently throughout every inch of your body.
You feel completely calm and with every breath you drift deeper and deeper to sleep.
And with every breath you take,
The sleep hormone enters through your system.
And as you continue to find rest in this comfortable,
Safe and relaxed space,
You continue to drift gently into your most healing and restorative sleep yet.
And with every breath you take,
The sleep hormone enters through your system.
And with every breath you take,
