Welcome,

And please take all the time that you need to set up your surroundings and to find a safe and comfortable position,

Gently closing down your eyes,

Bringing your awareness inwards,

Grounding yourself into the space by gently deepening your breath.

Inhale through your nose and feel your belly rise,

Exhale slowly,

Deeply and completely.

Take another slow breath in and a longer breath out.

Just notice the gentle rise and fall of your belly.

Notice the sensation of your breath going in and out through your nostrils.

Allow the rate of your breathing to gradually soften by extending the breath out,

Using no effort at all as your body starts to relax.

Take moments now to imagine following your breath on its journey as it travels around your body.

Follow your breath as it finds its way to the center of your heart,

Where you discover a bright,

Luminous,

Warm light glowing at the very core of your heart.

With every breath in,

Watch the light as it glows brighter and brighter.

With every breath out,

Watch the light as it spreads from the center of your heart out in all directions throughout your body,

Soothing and relaxing each part of your body that it reaches.

Imagine that the warm,

Glowing,

Soothing light reaches the crown of your head and slowly,

Gradually melts downwards.

Feel it dissolve any tightness in your forehead and the space between your brows,

Releasing any tension in your eyes,

Your temples and your jaw.

Allow this gentle warmth to surround your neck and deeply reach into your shoulders,

Making them feel light and free.

All the way along your arms to your fingertips,

Relaxing and letting go.

The light glows around your chest and your back,

Bringing relaxation with every heartbeat.

Your stomach softens and your spine melts into the mat,

Releasing and dissolving any worries,

Feeling completely at ease.

This comforting,

Warm light now wraps around your hips,

Your thighs and your knees,

Feeling gratitude for carrying you,

Holding you and supporting you.

Finally,

The soothing and nurturing light pours down into your calves,

Your ankles and your feet,

Feeling grounded,

Safe and anchored to the earth below.

Your whole body is now glowing from within as you are surrounded and illuminated by this warm,

Soothing,

Calming light.

Every single part of you feeling soft,

Nurtured,

Peaceful and relaxed.

Your heart is full,

Your heart is bright,

Your heart is glowing and you ooze love and compassion from every single cell and pore in your body.

We can always shine our light.

We can always spread our love.

We can always make a difference,

Even with just small random acts of kindness.

It costs nothing to be kind,

To hold a door open,

To give a compliment,

To make eye contact with someone providing a service,

To smile at a stranger.

Make it your mission to leave your beautiful heart prints everywhere.

I'm going to hold a very safe space for you now to relax and to enjoy basking in your very own glorious,

Bright,

Warm light.

Slowly bring awareness back to your breath.

Slowly bring awareness back to your body.

Take your time to introduce some small movements through your fingers and through your toes.

And only when you are ready and only when it feels right for you,

Slowly open your eyes.
