Transcript

Sitting or laying in a comfortable position,

Closing our eyes and bringing our attention into the belly and chest,

Feeling our body expand on our inhales and then release and relax on our exhales.

Next,

Bringing our attention into our hands,

Feeling any sensations or noticing any lack of sensations or simply just noticing that the hands are there.

Bringing our attention into the right hand,

Gently touching the tip of the right thumb to the tip of the right pointer finger and then the right thumb to the right middle finger,

Right thumb to the right ring finger,

Right thumb to right pinky finger,

Pulling the thumb and pinky finger apart and then reversing the order,

Right thumb to right pinky finger,

Thumb to ring finger,

Thumb to middle finger,

Thumb to pointer finger,

Relaxing the right hand.

Next,

Focusing our attention into the left hand,

Bringing the left thumb and the left pointer finger together,

Then the left thumb to the left middle finger,

Left thumb to the left ring finger,

Left thumb to the left pinky finger,

Pulling the thumb and pinky finger apart and then reversing the order,

Tapping left thumb to left pinky finger,

Thumb to ring finger,

Thumb to middle finger,

Thumb to pointer finger,

Relaxing the left hand,

Bringing the hands closer together.

We focus on touching the thumbs together and then pulling them apart,

Touching the pointer fingers together and then pulling them apart,

Touching the middle fingers together,

Pulling them apart,

Touching ring fingers,

Pulling them apart,

Touching pinky fingers,

Pulling them apart.

Next,

Tapping the right thumb to the left pinky finger,

Right pointer finger to left ring finger,

Middle fingers together,

Right ring finger to left pointer finger,

Left thumb to right pinky finger.

And now bringing the hands to rest at our sides,

Taking a breath in and a breath out,

Allowing the hands and all of the fingers to relax.

When you are ready,

Opening our eyes,

Becoming aware of our surroundings,

Maybe taking a another breath or two before moving into the rest of our day.
