Welcome.
This is your time to slow down.
Just breathe deeply and gently return to the only moment that truly exists,
The present moment.
Find a quiet and comfortable space.
You may lie down or sit with your spine gently upright.
Close your eyes and begin to notice your breath,
Not changing it,
Just observing it.
Let it be easy and natural,
In and out like the tide.
Now let's take a few cleansing breaths together.
Inhale deeply through your nose.
Exhale through the mouth,
Letting go and softening all the muscles.
Again inhale.
Exhale and release tension and stress.
One more time,
Inhale peace,
Now exhale everything else.
Now allow your breath to return to its normal rhythm.
Now bring gentle awareness to the crown of your head.
Imagine a warm light there.
This light of presence begins to move down slowly.
As it touches each part of your body,
Feel it,
Experience it and notice the softening and relaxation it brings to the body.
The light moves across your forehead,
Smoothing any lines of worry or deep thought.
Soften your forehead.
The light travels down to your jaw,
Allowing the unclenching and loosening of the jaw,
Allowing space.
It glides down your neck and shoulders,
Gently melting tension.
Let your shoulders drop and feel the heaviness release as they relax.
This peaceful light continues down your arms,
Into your wrists and hands and all the way to your fingertips.
Feel your upper body soften,
Allowing your chest to open and your heart to calm itself.
Let your belly be soft,
Let it rise and fall with the breath.
The light now moves down through your torso,
Down towards your hips and thighs,
Towards your knees,
Down through your legs,
To your ankles and your feet,
Allowing this light to move out the soles of your feet,
Grounding you deeply into the earth.
Your whole body is beginning to be relaxed.
You are safe in this moment.
You are supported in this moment.
You are present in this moment.
Now turn your attention to your body.
Begin to notice the sensations in your body,
The air around your skin,
The weight of your body against the surface beneath you,
The gentle and soft rhythm of your breath.
All of this is happening now.
There is nothing to do in this moment,
Just observe.
There is nothing to fix in this moment,
There is nowhere else you need to be in this moment.
This moment is enough.
Just breathe in nice and slow,
Exhaling slowly,
Relaxing on the exhale more and more,
Feeling the muscles release stress and tension with every exhalation.
Now bring your awareness to the sounds around you,
Even the subtle quiet ones,
Perhaps a distant hum,
Perhaps a gentle breeze,
Or maybe just the sound of your own breath.
Can you hear the silence underneath the sound?
Let's deepen this awareness.
Inhale slowly,
Exhale slowly.
With each inhaling breath,
I want you to say I am here,
Relaxing on the exhale,
I am here.
On your next inhale,
Say this moment is my home,
Relaxing on the exhale,
This moment is my home.
Let those words wash over you.
I am here,
This moment is my home.
Let the past dissolve,
It's already happened,
You can't go backwards.
Let the future wait,
There's nothing you can do now to help your future in this exact moment.
The best thing you can do for yourself is let the future wait and allow yourself to be in this moment,
Grounded and clear and at peace.
This moment,
This breath is complete,
You are complete,
You are whole.
If thoughts arise,
And they will,
Simply notice them like clouds passing through a sky above you.
You are not your thoughts.
You are like the sky,
Spacious,
Aware and open.
Let these thoughts float by like clouds in the sky.
And each time you notice a thought,
Gently guide your attention back to your breath.
Breathing in and out with ease.
Coming back to the feeling of the body at rest,
The body's relaxation and peace and calm within.
Back to that feeling of the body at rest.
Back to the now,
Being present in the now moment.
Notice how stillness feels in your mind,
In your heart,
In your body.
Notice how simplicity feels,
Just focusing on your breath and your body and relaxing.
Right here,
Right now.
This is presence.
You are in the moment of presence.
Now allow a soft intention to rise within,
Without striving for anything.
Ask yourself,
What is one small action I can take today that aligns with the stillness I am feeling?
What can I do today as a small action to reconnect with the stillness within?
Then ask yourself,
What would support my highest peace and purpose in the hours ahead?
What would support my highest peace and purpose in the hours ahead?
What can I do?
Now let your intuition respond.
Pay attention within.
It may be a word.
It may be a symbol or an image.
It may be a feeling.
It may be nothing at all.
Trust whatever arises for you.
Or simply sit with the questions in silence.
There is no rush.
The now has its own perfect pace.
Begin to bring your awareness back to your body.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Feel the breath in your chest,
The air on your skin.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Roll your shoulders and gently stretch if it feels right for you.
When you are ready,
Bring your palms together over your heart in a prayer position.
And thank yourself for showing up today.
Thank yourself for returning to presence.
For remembering that the only true moment is now.
Now take a long deep final breath.
As you exhale,
Gently open your eyes.
As you move forward into the day,
May you carry this peace and calm with you.
May you act from presence,
Speak from awareness,
And meet each moment as it comes with open eyes and an open heart.
You are always one breath away from now.
Namaste you
