Hi,
I'm Lori and welcome to this guided meditation to help ground you to the earth and set up a protective barrier between your positive energy and any negative energies that may come your way today.
Upon awakening is the best time to do this meditation practice as you are naturally rested yet still in a semi slumber state and not quite ready to enter the reality of your day.
You're just waking up.
So take a couple of nice long slow relaxing breaths.
Pay attention to how the air feels as it passes through your nostrils as it moves down into your lungs and diaphragm.
Then pay attention to how it feels as you release your breath allowing any stress or tension to leave the body.
When you're ready,
I want you to sit up with your feet on the floor,
Flat on the floor.
You can do this from the edge of your bed still wrapped in your blankets if you like or if your bed's too high.
This would be the time to move to a comfortable chair,
But it's important to have your feet flat on the floor.
Now imagine that you have roots growing out from your root chakra at your bottom,
Down your legs and out your feet and toes.
The roots are growing downwards towards the earth.
Imagine these roots wiggling down through the floor as extension of your toes and feet wiggling through the foundation,
Through the topsoil earth,
Into the bedrock.
Allow your roots to firmly anchor right through the bedrock and into the core.
Feel the energy of mother earth through your roots.
Now turn your focus to your breath.
It's nice and relaxed and natural.
In a moment,
I want you to breathe in mother earth energy through your roots and up into your feet.
So visualize your roots deep into the core of mother earth.
And when you're ready,
Go ahead now and take a nice long deep breath,
Visualizing breathing up mother earth energy through your roots and into your feet.
Exhale slowly and again,
Breathe in from mother earth.
Exhaling slowly,
Another breath in from mother earth.
Exhaling slowly,
One more breath in,
Pulling up the earth energy.
Exhale slowly.
Can you feel a tingling sensation in your feet?
Maybe even your ankles?
Let's keep going.
Let's try and get mother earth energy into our legs.
So nice big breath in,
Breathing in mother earth energy up through your roots.
Then exhale,
Breathe in again.
And exhale.
Inhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Exhale.
Good.
Now that you have the negative charge from mother earth starting to flow up through your feet into your ankles and legs,
You will start to experience an inner sense of balance and connection,
An inner calm.
Keep breathing in through your roots as we move on to the next step for protection.
The roots in this deep breathing,
Helping you to pull up the negative charge from the earth,
Is keeping you solidly grounded.
Imagine now an orb above your head.
It's about the size of a basketball.
It has a glowing golden glistening perimeter,
A flex of gold,
White,
And violet light energy particles inside.
The particles are moving and sparkling like in a snow globe that's just been shook.
It's beautiful and mesmerizing.
You could feel the healing,
Loving,
Protective light energy emitting from this divine orb.
Allow the orb to expand in size above your head until it's large enough that you would comfortably be able to fit inside it.
Keep breathing in mother earth energy up through your feet,
Staying grounded through this process.
Now visualize this loving,
Protective,
Healing light filled orb has expanded large enough now for you to fit,
And you invite it to slowly start descending over you.
Very slowly,
Very gently,
Feel how your sensations change as the golden,
White,
And violet orb slowly descends over your head,
Your throat,
Over your shoulders,
Passing over your chest,
Moving on to your waist.
Now allow the orb to hold its position at your waist.
Just pause for a moment.
Breathe in the gold,
White,
And violet healing,
Loving,
And protective light energy.
Take a nice,
Long,
Slow cleansing breath,
Allowing every cell in your body to be encased by this healing energy in loving light.
Feel its warmth.
Feel as its energy fills your being,
Recharging and rejuvenating every cell with every breath.
Allow the orb now to expand in size above your head.
Allow the orb now to continue to descend past your waist,
Moving on to your hips,
Down your thighs,
And your knees,
Past your shins and calves,
Past your feet until you're entirely encased in this beautiful,
Loving,
Protective healing light orb.
Now let's just take a few moments and feel the sensations in your body as you breathe deeply in this loving light,
Allowing it to pulsate and energize your being.
So take a nice,
Deep breath in.
Exhale slowly.
Exhale slowly.
Another big breath in of the divine,
Gold,
White,
Violet healing light.
Exhale slowly.
Inhale the light.
Exhale slowly.
Exhale.
Breathe in the light so you can feel it reach right down to your toes to meet the mother earth energy already tingling there.
Breathe in slowly and deeply,
Allowing that light to fill your being.
Now I want you to also imagine there are several small orbs starting to form and appear above the large orb you're currently in.
These orbs are all around and about you in your large orb.
They are here to absorb any negative external energies that might be directed your way.
They are like your little own personal orbiting defense system,
Constantly circling,
Constantly orbiting the orb of protective healing,
Loving light that you are encased in.
They will be with you for the rest of your day,
Helping you to deflect and dispel any negativity,
Any upset or any challenges you're having today.
So take one last deep breath in from the orb of light you're in.
Exhale slowly.
Take one last deep breath up from mother earth into your feet.
Exhale slowly.
You're now grounded,
Connected and protected,
Ready to start your day,
Able to address any challenge that may arise with joy and ease.
