Find a nice seated position and allow time for your body to settle and become comfortable.
Gently close your eyes and mentally scan your physical body.
Make any adjustments and just notice how you feel.
Begin by taking a deep breath and as you exhale allow stress to release and melt away.
Take in another deep breath and lift your shoulders up.
Pause for a moment at the top of the breath,
Allowing a gentle stretch in your shoulders,
Then exhale and relax.
Release your shoulders back down and feel another level of stress let go.
A third deep breath in and again lift those shoulders gently up and pause just a moment at the top of that breath with a little stretch and exhale now very slowly releasing shoulders and any last remnants of stress.
Allow some gentle breathing now,
Full awareness of your breath.
Just breathe and be.
Allow everything to become quiet inside.
Bring your awareness now to your heart center and notice within a beautiful star shining bright.
Always radiating your very essence and notice that with each breath the slight will brighten and your love just radiates forth and with each breath allow your inner star light to radiate until your entire being is all light shining beautiful and bright.
And notice now how you feel safe at peace and relaxed.
Bring your awareness now to the heavens above and notice a sparkly star in the sky.
With your awareness on the star feel it moving towards you and notice as your energy quickens with excitement and anticipation.
Invite your guides into your space feeling safe and secure.
As this light energy moves towards you remember your breath and witness as this light changes and takes shape into the form of your guide.
Take a moment to acknowledge this being.
If you are not one who works with visualization notice a change in your energy.
Trust what you may be feeling,
Hearing or even just knowing in this moment.
All your senses have power in helping you connect with this being.
In your mind reach your hand out to your guide and grasp theirs.
Feel the energy of love that begins to flow between you.
You have known this being for a long time and you recognize their familiar energy.
Take notice of how you feel in this presence.
Is there a sense of peace,
Recognition,
Excitement?
Maybe you noticed more than one spirit.
Take time to acknowledge them.
Working closely with your guides is like a relationship.
It needs to be nurtured.
Every time you connect with them this will deepen and become more clear.
Breathe in their essence.
This will program their presence into your cellular memory allowing future contact to be easily recognized.
Take a moment to introduce yourself and receive a name for your guide and trust what you get.
As we have many guides that often help us in our lives,
Inquire about the role this guide may play in your life and again trust what you feel,
Sense or know.
Ask also to receive a symbol from this guide,
A way of recognizing their everlasting presence in your life.
This symbol may come to you in many forms.
A visual symbol,
A sensation in your body or a gentle touch on your shoulder.
Maybe even the scent of a flower.
Take a moment to just feel,
Sense and be with your guide.
Ask some questions to become familiar with them.
Even inquire how best for you to continue your connection with your guide.
Trust what you see,
Trust what you feel and trust what you know.
Take a deep breath to acknowledge all that you have received or felt.
In your time here with your guide,
Open your heart and send them love and gratitude for their ever supportive presence in your life.
Notice the wash of love that pours over you in return.
You are so very loved.
As your guide steps back,
Watch as they return to the starlight energy that they are and witness their return to the starry heavens where they forever watch over you.
Remember always that your guides are no more than a thought away.
Always to be with you when needed.
All you need to do is just ask.
But above all,
Remember that you are also a being of light and love.
Bring your awareness now back to your own illuminate light self and back to your own star essence in the center of your heart.
And with a few gentle breaths,
Begin to bring your essence and vibration back to your heart center.
Feeling a calm vibration within.
Placing your hands over your heart center,
Send a thought of gratitude and love for yourself.
And feel that energy pour forth from your hands and into your heart.
Take a deep breath now and exhale with the intention of grounding.
And another deep breath with awareness returning to your surroundings.
And a final grounding deep breath.
And as you raise your shoulders into a gentle stretch and exhale with your full awareness in the present,
Take a second to notice any difference in how you feel.
A shift in your energy,
A deeper relaxation or even calm awareness.
And when you are ready,
Slowly move your fingers and gently open your eyes and welcome yourself back to the present.
