Welcome to today's practice.
This is a short practice that you can do whenever you're feeling nervous.
And want to give the body a little bit of movement and release.
So we're going to begin seated.
On a cushion,
On a rolled up blanket,
On a rolled up mat.
And just bring the soles of the feet together,
Letting the knees come to the sides.
Take a moment here with the eyes open or closed to connect with the breath.
Long,
Deep inhales.
Soft and gentle exhales.
And with these breaths,
We're going to start slaughtering our needs.
You can exhale out the mouth if your body feels like it.
Eyes could be open or closed.
Taking the last few breaths here.
One more deep inhale.
Exhale,
Side out,
Stop the movement.
Observe the feeling,
The sensation.
You can cross the legs or stretch them forward.
Connecting with this moment,
With the ground beneath you.
With the state of your emotions,
Of your mind.
We're going to take two breaths here.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale out the mouth.
One more inhale to the nose.
And exhale out the mouth gently opening your eyes if they were closed.
Thank you so much for joining this short practice and I hope these movements and this fluttering moved a little bit of energy from the hips and your grounded neck.
