Welcome to this gentle reminder where we connect as humans living under this blue sky and walking on this sacred earth.
As usual,
As you hear the voice,
I will invite you to connect into the felt sense of your body and your breath in this moment,
Feeling the air moving your body as it comes in and out and feeling your body.
Maybe you're sitting,
Maybe you're walking,
But become aware of the felt sense of your whole body,
The places of contact of your body with another surface and even expand your awareness to your surroundings,
To the sounds.
Being fully present with this moment as I speak.
So today,
I want to take us into the art of pausing,
Of savoring our last action before moving on to the next one.
Have you noticed yourself rushing from one activity to the next with not a moment to pause,
To celebrate,
To honor what you have finished before moving on to the next thing?
I have and I think many of us jump or leave on this train of doing and doing and doing.
Checking in again with your body with this moment,
With this end of the sentence.
Because pauses allow our system to integrate,
To come back to base before moving forward with something else.
To pause between one thing and the next gives our nervous system the time to sigh it out,
Release and rejoice before moving on.
So today,
I invite you to take your attention to the in-betweens,
To those moments of pause between one thing and the next and use these moments to honor,
To acknowledge what has passed and what is yet to come.
It could be with just a few simple breaths,
With a smile to celebrate life coming to life as Yig.
So thank you for joining this gentle reminder and as this audio comes to an end,
Practice stepping into this first pause and observing what the silence in between brings to you.
