Hello and welcome to today's meditation.
Today we're going to do a tree meditation.
This meditation is excellent for grounding,
Healing,
And a feeling of peace.
So let's go ahead and start by asking our angels and spirit guides to assist us,
Protect us,
And guide us during this meditation session.
If there's any particular spirit guides or angels,
Animal messengers,
Gods or goddesses that you'd like to call on,
Now's a good time to do that.
You can just silently set that intention that they are here helping you and ask them for assistance.
Just take a moment to focus on the breath,
Breathing easily in and easily out.
Your breath comes easily and effortlessly.
There's no work involved.
Your breath just flows like the water.
Starting to feel more relaxed,
Easy and more free.
As you start to feel and go into a state of ease and peace,
Just take a moment to imagine that at the base of your spine,
Down into your legs and through your feet,
You have sprouted roots.
These roots start to bury into the ground,
Going deeper and deeper.
These roots ground you and through these roots come the nourishment that you need,
The food,
The sustenance,
And anything else that nourishes you.
These roots continue to go deeper into the ground,
Accessing the water table and continuing to bring in minerals,
Food and sustenance.
These roots connect you so deeply to everything around you and the very earth itself.
As you are connected with the earth,
You feel safe,
Connected and provided for.
Bring your attention up to your torso,
Which is now like the trunk of a tree.
Just as a tree has a beautiful bark that protects it,
So you too are protected.
Raise your awareness up higher and notice that your arms rise up like the trunks of a tree.
You notice and feel that there are branches rising up into the air,
Into the sky.
These branches can move in the wind.
Just as your roots connect you with the earth,
These branches connect you with the air.
So you are completely connected with the water through your roots,
With the earth through your roots,
And then with your branches through the air.
In your branches you have lots of little leaves.
These leaves bring in nourishment and sustenance from the sun.
And there is nothing that you need to do in order to receive this.
Just your very existence allows for this support.
And in fact,
Through your very being you are receiving and assisting and supporting so many other life forms.
Take a moment to notice what your leaves are like.
Are they broad and flat?
Are they needles?
Are they a pale or a deep green?
Take a moment also to notice the bark.
Is it light colored like an aspen or a deeper shade of brown?
Is it smooth or rough?
Feel how the wind whistles in your leaves and branches.
Notice if there are birds with nests or just passing through on a branch.
Perhaps there is a caterpillar munching on some leaves.
Perhaps a butterfly is wafting by in the breeze.
It's so easy and peaceful,
Existing as this tree,
Connected with all things,
Peaceful,
Grounded and aware.
And just know that at any time you can reconnect with this tree energy,
With this feeling of peace,
With this groundedness and stability,
With this ease of life.
You can simply bring your awareness back to this mindset,
Feeling and perspective that you now have.
Let's thank the world,
Gaia,
And any tree spirits that assisted us in this journey and experience today.
For the moment,
Let's release that feeling and sense of being a tree.
Your legs return to legs.
The feeling of the bark as your torso diminishes,
Returning back to its normal state.
Your arms are no longer branches.
You are back to feeling as you are,
As who you are.
You can return and feel the benefits of the tree at any time.
Also know that trees provide so much wisdom and it's possible to check in with trees or tree spirits when you feel lost,
When you feel ungrounded,
Or when you feel like you need healing or to release stress.
So once again,
Thanking all of the spirits,
Angels,
And spirit guides that assisted us in this meditation today.
Please continue to provide peace,
Guidance,
Assistance,
And support for us in this day or into this night and moving forward.
Namaste.
