Welcome to the EMDR Lightstream Technique Guided Meditation.
This meditation is great when people are experiencing physical pain and can also be helpful if you are looking for an energy enhancer.
As you begin,
I want you to first be mindful of what you're experiencing in this moment.
Ask yourself what emotions are you feeling now and where do you feel them in your body?
Next imagine that those feelings are an object.
Then ask yourself,
If this object had a shape,
What shape would it be?
If it had a size,
What size would it be?
What color,
Temperature,
Texture,
Or sound would this object,
These feelings be?
Next we'll move on to the imagery part.
Picking a color that you most associate with healing.
This light can be thought of as being powered by the cosmos,
An infinite source,
Or if you have a religious belief,
You could think of it as a light from God or higher power.
See if you can feel just a bit more comfortable in whatever position you are in.
And now invite that healing light to touch the top of your head and get a sense of how it might feel if you were just absorbing this light through the top.
And now focus this light down and down towards the object,
This bundle of feelings,
And let this light vibrate and resonate like a laser beam in and around this object.
Allowing yourself to notice what is happening.
You notice this light dissolving away any tension.
Feeling this light spreading down and down throughout your entire body,
Dissolving away any muscular tension,
Soothing any uncomfortable feelings,
The colored healing light moving in gentle waves throughout your body,
Calming and relaxing you.
Allowing yourself to notice what is happening.
Allowing yourself to notice what is happening.
Allowing yourself to notice what is happening.
Allowing yourself to notice what is happening.
And relaxing and enjoying these peaceful feelings resting here.
Allowing yourself to notice what is happening.
Allowing yourself to notice what is happening.
And whenever you're ready,
Allow yourself to let the energy from this light flow throughout your entire body,
Allowing this healing light to reach the tips of your fingers and all the way to the tips of your toes.
Allowing yourself to be engulfed by this light.
Allowing yourself to notice what is happening.
Allowing yourself to notice what is happening.
Allowing yourself to notice what is happening.
And whenever you want,
Counting to three.
And at three,
Opening your eyes.
Feeling alert,
Refreshed,
Calm and comfortable.
