This meditation is for the person who holds everything together for everyone else but somehow never finds the time,
Space,
Or energy for themselves.
If that's you,
This practice is for you.
The idea is simple.
We're going to map your foundation as a house as it exists today.
And as you'd like it to look,
No judgment either way,
Just an honest look with curiosity and grace.
See the kitchen as a place for nourishment.
This is how you feed yourself and whether you actually taste your food or eat on the run,
The bathroom is a representation of what you get to release and let go of.
What are you holding on to that's ready to be washed off?
Old decisions,
Old versions of you,
Tension that was never yours to carry.
See the living room as the area of joy and play,
Whether fun is something you experience regularly or something you postpone until the work is done.
The office represents work,
Your ambition,
Your output,
Your drive.
Most high performers keep this room fully furnished and running around the clock.
The bedroom is a place of rest,
Not necessarily spa days.
Think of it as daily rest,
Slow mornings,
Quiet minutes,
Letting your body exist without a task attached.
Now the garage represents your support,
The people who were actually in your corner and how connected you feel versus how self-sufficient you've had to become.
As you walk down the hallway in a moment during this beautiful visualization,
You'll pass every one of these doors.
Notice which room draws you in.
It might be the one you'd expect,
It might not be.
There's nothing to interpret in the moment and nothing to get right.
Whatever shows up,
Meet it with curiosity,
Not a verdict.
And with that,
Let's begin.
Let's just take a moment.
To just.
.
.
Relax.
Starting from the head.
Your eyes,
If you notice you're kind of squinting,
Just relax.
Your jaw.
And clench your jaw.
And as we go through the body,
Just breathe in deeply.
And exhale.
And continuing to relax.
Lowering your shoulders down.
Noticing how your chest feels.
Maybe imagining it opening.
Letting more air in.
Relax.
Your stomach.
Your butt,
Your legs.
Relax your calves.
Your feet,
Your toes.
Just gently take a deep inhale here.
And slowly exhale.
And take a moment to notice your heart space.
You can put your hand on your heart if that feels supportive.
And imagine a green light.
Coming from your heart space.
And as you inhale,
It glows brighter and as you exhale,
It gets bigger.
Inhale gets brighter.
Exhale gets bigger keep breathing like this.
Until slowly you notice.
The green ball is as big as the room that you're currently in.
Now you notice it's as big as the house or apartment or building that you're in.
And as you look in your mind's eye,
See a hallway open in front of you.
See yourself walking through the hallway.
And notice what the hallway looks like.
Is it just straight?
Do you find yourself curving through?
Are you at your actual house?
Maybe you're even outside.
Maybe you see nothing at all.
And whatever you see or don't see.
It's absolutely perfect.
And as you walk down this hallway,
Notice that you are passing doors.
And you know you're passing through the kitchen.
Where it's all about your health and nourishment.
And then you pass by the bathroom.
Where it's about what you can release and let go of.
And you pass the door of your living room.
Where joy,
Fun,
And play reside.
And as you keep walking down the hallway,
You notice you pass the door to your office.
You pass the door to your bedroom.
Where rest and self-care is.
And finally,
You pass the door to your garage where your external support lives.
And that includes human support,
Your spirit team,
And even all the different parts within you that sometimes feel separate.
And as you find yourself at the end,
Of your hallway.
See yourself turn around and look back at all the doors.
Notice one of these doors.
Has opened.
Or maybe a light is starting to shine out of it.
Whatever it is,
You just feel somehow drawn to this particular door.
See yourself walk towards that door.
Open the door if it's not already open and walk in.
Which room did you find yourself in?
Take a look around with curiosity.
Let go of any judgment you might be having about what it looks like.
And just see the room for what it is in its current state.
Is it exactly as you would love?
Are there parts of it that you would like to upgrade,
To change?
Just notice with curiosity.
And such love and gratitude for the room that's already here.
Now see yourself.
Walk out of the room.
And go back towards the hallway towards where you were sitting where you are right now in this present moment Go back to where you are in this present moment.
Feel the seat beneath you.
The floor beneath your feet.
Just take a moment to inhale deeply here.
And exhale.
And whenever you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
