Guided meditation to help you find your "why" in your business, project, or any other aspect of your life. Oftentimes we use our minds to try to find our purpose in why we are motivated to do the things we do. This causes our minds to spin and disconnect from our intuition. Instead, this meditation offers a way to slow down and tune in to what our intuition already knows to be true.

We are going to explore our why by slowing down our breath and relaxing into our body.

So go ahead and find either a comfortable seated position with both feet on the ground or seated cross-legged on the floor or lying down.

Whichever position will bring you the most peace,

Comfort and calmness.

Let's begin by taking three deep breaths.

Inhale slowly,

Hold at the top,

Exhale slowly.

One more time,

Inhale slowly,

Pause at the top,

Exhale slowly.

Let's do it one last time,

Inhale slowly,

Pause at the top,

Exhale slowly.

I want you to imagine a bright,

Warm ball of light over your head.

Imagine that ball slowly begin to go to the top of your head.

Imagine it traveling down your neck.

Imagine the bright ball traveling down one shoulder towards your elbow,

Towards your hand.

Imagine the light going through your fingertips.

Imagine the light going across your chest to the next shoulder,

Down that elbow,

Down that hand,

Light glowing out of your fingertips.

Take a deep breath in and really feel that bright light,

That warmth,

That protection.

Really feel into that light as it goes down towards your belly.

Breathe into that light.

I want you to imagine the light going down your right leg,

Towards your right knee,

Down your right foot,

Flowing brightly through the sole of your right foot.

Again,

Just breathe in that warmth,

That light,

That protective energy.

Now I want you to imagine that bright light moving down your left leg,

Down towards your left knee,

Your left foot,

And then your left knee,

Down towards your left knee,

Your left foot,

Out through the sole of your left foot,

And breathe in this light,

Protective energy that's all throughout your body.

Feel it as it keeps your energy safe and secure.

Feel it as it protects you against anyone else's energy.

Take a deep breath,

Hold it at the top,

Now exhale.

As you feel in the protective,

Bright light and its energy surrounding you,

Ask yourself this question,

What is my why?

And allow your energy,

The space,

To let you know what that is.

It may be an image,

Or a symbol,

It may be a sound,

Or a feeling,

Or maybe nothing at all.

Really feel into that why,

And really breathe that in.

Let's go ahead and stay rooted in our why by taking three deep breaths.

Inhale slowly,

Hold at the top,

Exhale slowly.

Once again,

Inhale slowly,

Hold at the top,

Exhale slowly.

One last time,

Inhale slowly,

Hold at the top,

Exhale slowly.

And whenever you're ready,

Go ahead and open your eyes.
