This meditation is a readiness check before you begin your work,
Whether your work is creating content,
Starting a project,
Looking at your finances,
Or even if you're just making a huge decision or what feels like a big decision.
It matters where you're coming from internally.
If you're overwhelmed,
Tight,
Or spiraling in perfectionism,
That energy will shape the outcome.
If you're neutral,
Open,
Or maybe even a little excited,
That energy will shape it too.
This practice helps you tune into your heart and your body so you can recognize the difference.
You're not trying to force yourself into motivation.
You're building awareness,
Because aligned action starts with internal alignment.
So before you begin your work,
Let's check in.
Go ahead and get settled in your seats.
Feel your feet on the floor.
Your seat beneath you.
And we're just going to take three deep breaths.
So inhale slowly.
And exhale.
One more time.
Inhale.
And exhale.
And as you exhale,
Imagine this beautiful white bubble start to form around you,
Starting at the top of your head.
You see it going down your shoulders,
Down your torso,
Your legs,
And then all the way down till it closes beneath your feet.
And in this bubble,
You notice yourself being completely present.
Whatever worries or questions or thoughts that you had are outside the bubble.
Now tune into your heart.
Just notice what it feels like.
And as you're tuning into your heart,
Ask your heart,
What does neutral feel like?
Maybe it's a physical sensation in your body.
Maybe it's just a sense of quiet in your mind.
Or maybe it's a word that pops up that just says neutral.
Whatever it is for you.
Imagine that this feeling or image or word is put into a file and put into a filing cabinet where both your conscious and subconscious can access it later.
Now as you tune into your heart again,
Ask your heart,
What does excited feel like?
What does open to creativity feel like?
And again,
Maybe this is a physical sensation of your heart opening.
Maybe it's an image of you with your arms wide open,
Face to the sky.
Or it could even just be the sound of the ocean waves.
Whatever it is for you.
Imagine that this is put into a file and into the filing cabinet where both your subconscious and conscious have access to.
Now tune back into your heart.
And feel yourself go back down to neutral.
And from the space,
Now imagine what it feels like when you're frustrated.
Overwhelmed.
Maybe a little bit of perfectionist tendency has come up.
Maybe imposter syndrome has come up.
And if it feels to be a little too much,
Know that you can ask your heart to turn it down just a little bit.
You just want to know what this feels like.
Is it a constriction in your chest?
Do you start to hear thoughts running in your mind?
Maybe you get an image of someone pulling their hair out.
Whatever it is,
Imagine putting it down in a file and putting it in the filing cabinet where both your subconscious and conscious has access to it.
Go ahead and tune back into your heart.
And ask your heart to take you back to neutral.
And notice how already both your conscious and subconscious already know how to do this.
And tune back into your heart.
And ask your heart,
Take me to the place of excitement and joy and open to my creativity.
And just notice how easily both your conscious and subconscious work together to get you there.
Now feel yourself seated back into your seat.
Feet on the ground.
The seat beneath you.
Go ahead and take one deep breath.
Inhale.
And exhale.
And when you're ready,
You can go ahead and open your eyes.
