Before we begin,
I want to share a little context for this meditation.
This practice is about uncovering the beliefs that may be holding you back and learning the energy of your future self.
The version of you who already trusts themselves,
Feels confident,
And is living the life you want.
The goal is not to escape into the future,
But to recognize that this energy already exists within you now.
I recommend having a pen and notebook ready.
You don't need to write during the meditation,
But afterward you may want to jot down anything that comes up.
Thoughts,
Feelings,
Beliefs,
Or even resistance.
As you move through this meditation,
Remember that the real practice happens after the audio ends.
When limiting beliefs,
Thoughts,
Or emotions show up in your day-to-day life,
See if you can simply notice them.
Acknowledge them with curiosity rather than judgment.
And gently remind those parts of you that the energy of your future self is not something you're becoming someday.
It's something you can begin acting from now.
Whenever you're ready,
Let's begin.
Let's just get settled.
Feet on the ground.
And then I'm going to close my eyes.
I invite you to close your eyes as well,
Whenever it's comfortable for you.
And we're just going to start with three deep breaths.
So inhaling slowly.
And exhale.
One more time.
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
One last time.
Inhale.
And exhale.
And just take a moment to really feel your feet on the ground,
Your seat beneath you.
And as you continue to breathe,
Just feel your body relax from head down to your shoulders,
Down your legs,
Your arms,
All the way down to your toes.
And just let go of the day.
Let go of the to-do list.
And just be completely present here in this moment.
And as you feel yourself start to relax,
See a round mirror form right in front of you.
And in that mirror,
You see a reflection of you.
But somehow you know that the you in the mirror is the you,
Five years from today,
Already living your dream life,
Your dream career.
And take a moment and look in the mirror and just observe.
What do you notice about this version of you?
Is this version of you dressed differently?
Does their energy feel different?
Maybe the background is different.
And as you continue to observe this version of you five years from today,
Lean closer to the mirror and see yourself actually step through the mirror.
Into the version of you five years from today.
As you settle in as this version of you five years from today,
What do you notice?
How are you feeling?
What are some of the thoughts that this version of you is thinking?
Maybe it's something like,
I'm so grateful that I believed in myself because now I'm successful running three different businesses,
Not just one.
Maybe this version of you is thinking,
I feel so free.
And maybe you just feel really relaxed.
Confident.
And even though this version of you five years from today still doesn't have the perfect plan,
Perfect step-by-step,
This version of you seems to just feel relaxed and have such confidence and trust in herself,
In the universe,
In God's source,
Whatever your belief system is.
Take one deep breath as this you,
Version of you five years from today,
And look back towards the mirror.
Step closer to the mirror.
And see yourself go through.
And as you go through the mirror,
You notice that you actually are in a completely empty,
Dark space.
And you can see the present day you in a mirror in front of you.
In this dark space,
You notice that there are other parts of you,
Past versions of you,
Younger versions of you,
And they all represent what you used to believe,
These limiting beliefs,
How you used to feel about uncertainty,
About what success looks like,
And take a moment to just observe these past versions of you with love,
Curiosity,
And compassion.
Give them a moment to give voice to what they're thinking,
To what they're feeling.
Maybe they're saying things like,
I'm not good enough.
Maybe it's I have to prove myself.
Whatever it is,
Take note.
Thank that part.
And let them know that you are grateful for them for speaking up and showing up and letting you know what it is that they believe,
That they feel,
That they think.
And go ahead and approach the mirror where you can see the present day you and walk through it until you find yourself seated in your chair,
Feel your feet on the floor,
And know that just now you have taken with you the energy of the version of you five years from today who was already living your dream career.
I'm going to end this visualization with three deep breaths.
So slowly inhale,
Exhale,
Exhale.
One more time,
Inhale,
Exhale.
One last time,
Inhale,
And exhale.
And whenever you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
