Hey there,

This is Jen with Laughing Lotus Wellness.

Welcome to our meditation practice.

I just want to welcome you into our meditation.

Thanks.

Naming the beauty.

I'm just inviting you to take time to just find a comfortable space for your body and mind for your meditation today.

And adjusting props or your clothing or body to be that much more at peace.

And embodying the sense of thanks through all layers of the body and the mind and the soul.

As we begin just tapping into the layers of your being.

Placing that awareness and that outer physical layer and just how you're showing up today.

Without any judgment just noticing what might be showing up.

Scanning the body from head to toe.

Inviting an awareness.

Are there any spots of gripping or holding?

And are there areas of lightness and beauty?

And then having had that awareness just releasing that away.

For the time of our practice,

Each of the layers as we tap in we're just going to bring awareness.

And then we're going to let that sort of flow away from us and however you prefer if that feels like having a sweet box that you kind of put them in to store them until we're done.

Or whether it's something that almost flows away on a river.

And you'll know that you can pick all these things back up when we're done with our time today.

So having looked at that physical layer,

The awareness of that space.

And now releasing that to move into the state of the mind.

That mind that's always chattering.

And just really taking a moment to bring awareness to the state of the thoughts,

The state of the mind today.

Is it busy?

Is it quiet?

Again without any judgment,

Complete self compassion here,

We're just noticing what is.

And again releasing that away.

And that next layer we're going to move into the emotions and I invite you to just take stock of what emotions are showing up today.

What feels present?

Joy,

Gratitude,

Hope.

And there can be stress and there can be sadness and there can be a blend of all of those things together and it's really just bringing the awareness to what is.

And again releasing that layer,

Allowing those emotions to sort of float away knowing that we'll come back around pick them up.

And diving a little more deeply moving into that state of wisdom and intuition.

And just bringing awareness what's coming forward for you today.

In this moment.

What are you sensing?

Just breathing here.

Allowing those senses to float forward into awareness.

And then we're going to move into that layer of the soul.

Taking a moment to just tap into the highest version of who you are.

And sometimes the removing of those layers the sort of moving through them allows us to just dive a little more deeply.

Into what is.

And the real real of who we are.

Sometimes those layers can.

Feel a little bit like barriers.

And so the idea is to release some of those barriers that might hold us back from really showing up in the moment and allowing that soul space.

To be present.

That heart to really show up.

And shine.

And all of those layers,

Each of them have energy.

And so what we're doing is we're sort of moving our way into and through the various layers of what we're really made up of.

To land in that sweet space that purest consciousness.

The space where our minds are our minds and experiences are so expansive that all things are possible.

And so today we begin our journey as always with an intention or sankalpa.

And you can always create your own or borrow mine.

And the seed of this thought using my words as your words if they resonate.

I am grateful to give thanks.

By way of embracing a lens of seeing kindness all around me.

And practice seeing feeling and sending out gratitude to acknowledge the goodness around me.

And now placing awareness in locations of the body as if lit by healing light.

No need to move physically,

But rather just allowing that awareness to float.

And so beginning today by placing the healing light of awareness in the crown.

The crown the crown healing light of awareness,

Filling the crown.

Really sensing and embodying that sense of energetic light in the crown of the head.

And flowing now that healing light awareness flowing into the face and the head.

The whole head filled with healing light of awareness.

The whole crown and head filled with a healing light of awareness.

Embodying that sense of the energy permeating all of that space and the crown of the head,

Healing taking place in the crown.

Lighting up those spaces of oneness intuition.

And flowing down into that neck space of your truth,

Speaking what matters most to you,

Lighting up that space healing light of awareness flowing into the throat.

Into the neck and down and over the shoulders,

Healing light of awareness and the crown,

The head and the face,

The throat,

The neck into the shoulders.

Placing healing light of awareness.

In the right shoulder and arm.

And then the left shoulder and arm.

And the right shoulder and arm.

Back into that left shoulder and arm.

Healing light of awareness now,

Fluidly moving into both the right and the arm.

And the left and right shoulders and arms.

And now bringing that light of awareness to the right hand,

Light of awareness in that right hand.

And placing that healing light of awareness in the left hand,

In the right hand,

In the left hand.

And for a moment sensing like you could be holding a beautiful ball of energetic light and tossing it from right hand to left hand,

To right hand,

To left hand.

And now in both hands healing light of awareness in both hands.

And bringing that light of awareness and healing to the front of the chest and then the upper back.

Healing light of awareness in the chest and the upper back.

Chest and upper back encased in healing energy.

Bright light of energy.

Whole chest,

Upper back lit in radiant light.

And the energy and healing light of awareness flowing into the mid torso and belly.

Sensing that energy in the mid torso and belly.

And the mid and the low back.

So in the front and the mid torso and the belly,

Healing light of awareness and then flowing into the back side of the body.

The front side of the body and the back side of the body.

And now the entire torso of the body is lit in radiant light.

Embodying and sensing the healing light of awareness.

From crown to the face and scalp and the throat.

Neck and shoulders,

Arms and hands.

Chest and back.

Torso,

Mid belly,

Low belly,

Mid and low back.

All of that space lit in healing light.

Imagining the warmth of that energy.

Expanse of space being created as the healing moves through the body.

And imagine now that healing light is flowing down into the hips.

Right hip and left hip.

Right hip and left hip.

The entire pelvis lit in light,

Radiant healing energy expanding and holding space.

And imagining the awareness in the upper legs.

Healing light of awareness,

Radiant light in the front of the legs.

Both legs lit in healing light.

The right and the left.

The right and the left.

And now imagining the back sides of the legs.

Filled with healing light,

Radiant light flowing.

The right and the left,

The right and the left.

And that same radiant energy flowing into the knees and the lower legs.

Right shin and left shin.

Right shin and left shin.

Flowing into that back side of the legs,

The right calf and the left calf.

The right calf and the left calf.

Lower legs now filled with expansive healing light,

Flowing energy.

Flowing in through the crown and moving through all of the areas of the body.

Moving down,

Down,

Down.

Expansive healing light and awareness,

Radiance flowing through the whole body.

And now moving their way into the ankles and into the feet.

As those energies flow into and down through the legs,

Into the ankles and into the feet.

Embodying the deep rootedness of the feet,

The bottoms of the feet.

Allowing the energy to flow from head to toe.

All the way out the bottoms of the feet.

Rooting us,

Grounding us and sensing the energy beneath the feet.

And imagining now the energy in the whole of the body.

The whole of the body,

Lit in that radiance.

Life force energy flowing from the crown to the feet.

The front of the body,

The back of the body.

And the front of the body again and the back of the body.

And noticing those spaces light up with a beautiful,

Bright,

Warm healing light.

The whole of the upper body and the whole of the lower body.

The upper body and the lower body.

Breathing in that healing light from the feet to the crown.

Inviting in healing energy,

Gratitude,

Into the crown of the head.

Flowing all the way to the toes.

The body lit in light.

And embodying gratitude and thanks and so pausing in this beautiful space.

To embody gratitude and thanks.

Acknowledging the goodness.

Noticing where in your body you might most notice gratitude and thanks.

Breathing here.

The whole body is bathed in radiant light,

In sacred space.

Your body is a sacred space.

Gratitude is the fuel that lights the soul and kindness on fire.

And I invite you to begin to imagine yourself in a beautiful room.

Deep green on the walls.

Soft green accents.

It's a plush and comforting space.

You instantly feel supported here.

A sweet and distinguished older woman comes into the room.

Dressed head to toe in gold.

Invites you to take a seat in a tall back chair right in front of a roaring fire.

This room is lulling you into a state of peace.

The woman offers you a blanket and tucks it around you,

Ensuring you are extra cozy and comfortable.

She also offers you a warm drink and a beautiful tea cup.

You graciously accept it and feel the warmth of the mug in your hands.

And the smell of your favorite drink rises up to meet you.

And this sense of drowsiness overcomes you.

This place,

This generous woman,

And the coziness is inviting you to drop into a beautiful state of relaxation.

A sense of flow.

As if walking between the world of waking and sleeping.

And as you breathe,

You open to receive.

As you stare down into your mug,

That tea cup,

You see not your reflection,

But something is happening.

Like scenes flitting across the top of the drink.

Watching now fully immersed in the images.

You take stock of unexpected kindness.

And big and small moments,

Either real or imagined,

You will see them,

Feel them,

And send them into the heart.

Seeing now a moment when someone cared for you when you were sick,

Slowly pressing a cool washcloth to your forehead,

Seeing it,

Feeling it,

And sending it into the heart.

Moments when someone came to support you at an event where you were soothed and felt love for their presence.

Looking out,

Seeing their face,

Beaming in pride.

Seeing it,

Feeling it,

Sending it into the heart.

The times when someone sat with you while you explored a painful experience and cried with you where you knew what it was like to feel seen and important.

Seeing it,

Feeling it,

And sending it into the heart.

Seeing a moment where someone stood up for you,

Defending you in a moment where someone was unkind,

And you felt protected.

Seeing that,

Feeling that,

And sending that into the heart.

The joy of a day spent with friends,

Laughing,

Talking,

And doing things you enjoy together.

Feeling that deep sensing of belonging.

Connection,

Kindness,

And love.

Embodying now that deep sense of belonging,

Connection,

Kindness,

And love.

Seeing it,

Feeling it,

Sending it into the heart.

Taking this moment to really receive the gifts of kindness,

Acknowledging how you see them,

And feel them.

Imagine yourself now giving out thanks,

Deeply sensing your gratitude,

And sending it out from the heart space.

And when you do,

Really feeling that gratitude as it settles in the seat of the soul.

Imagine seeing yourself showing up for a loved one on a tough day.

What you would say and what you would do for them without being asked.

Intuitively knowing how you are being called to service.

Imagine seeing an animal slightly injured and needing to be safely placed out of harm's reach.

Small bird or bunny that needs a safe place to heal in service and things.

Sharing your nurturing energy with that sweet animal friend.

And noticing here a small child tear faced and scared.

Where you easily guide them to finding their parent.

Reuniting them for a deep sense of safety.

In service.

Bringing forth that sense of embodying protection for others needed in a moment of turmoil.

Showing up in soul service.

And knowing someone that you love is unwell.

Going through the motions of making sure they're comfortable.

Sitting with them,

Holding space and sending loving thoughts and energy.

Called to service and responding with grace.

Imagine that you're in a place of quiet,

Sitting beneath a beautiful tree and closing your eyes.

Having gratitude for all of nature around you,

All of the earth,

All of its gifts.

And in that quiet space of reflection,

Sending out service as a light from the soul to all who need it.

And last you see yourself vulnerable and authentic.

Showing up with the needs you may have right now.

And in your mind,

Wrapping that version of you in a deep hug,

Full of loving kindness and warmth,

Protection and support.

In service now,

You make space for the soft parts of who you are.

Connecting the aspects of strength and light to the parts of you that suffer.

Showing up in service,

Just holding space for the soul to receive this deep and loving kindness.

With the awareness that you are stronger when you can love yourself,

As it amplifies how you can show up in the world and in your service.

Sensing the light of your soul shining brightly as you embrace.

Noticing the receiving and sending of this gratitude you have in your heart and connecting with the seat of the soul.

The balance of seeing,

Receiving and sending the things out.

Really embracing this experience for a few moments here as you breathe.

And slowly becoming aware of a gentle hand on your shoulder.

Looking up to see the sweet,

Aligned face of your gracious host for this journey.

She takes your teacup,

Gently sets it on a table.

Offering a hand to take your blanket.

And you slowly stand as you hand it to her.

And now taking her hands and yours,

Giving thanks for this sweet reminder of what it means to see and give out gratitude.

The importance of the practice.

Seeing the feeling and the giving of thanks and gratitude.

Turning now,

You begin to walk back the way you came and notice that there is a mirror covering the doorway.

A large gilded mirror.

Gold.

And beautifully shining.

And as you step up to it,

You can see that your soul is lit from the inside out.

That you are shining.

That light is pouring out of every aspect of your being,

Like your soul is on the outside.

And squinting.

It's almost hard to look at,

But so beautiful.

And you can see behind you,

The highest form of who you are is holding space.

Kindly smiling and knowing not to support.

As you go out and take this energy of gratitude with you to step into both seeing the feeling and the giving of deep thanks.

For all of the goodness that you see in the world.

And knowing it is safe.

Prepare to leave the sacred space.

Take that light out into the world,

Stepping gently through that mirror.

And back into the room where you are seated or lying down.

And returning as always.

That's sankalpa for practice.

Sending it even more deeply through the layers of our being.

Using my words as your words that they resonate.

And slowly returning to the earth body feeling that sense of muscles and bones,

The flow of the breath.

How you are anchored to the earth.

Paying attention right now to how you are feeling.

What you're noticing.

What it was like to experience the feeling and the sending of the gratitude.

What it was like to take action and thanks.

To see that kindness love support and connection all facets of acting in your gratitude.

Beginning to run the thumbs across into the fingertips wiggling fingers toes.

I invite you to take a moment and rub the hands together if you'd like,

And then gently placing them over the heart space.

Connecting to your journey and practice.

And internal soul light and that sense of gratitude and kindness.

Energy flowing through the body.

Embodying that beautiful healing light.

Pausing for a moment here to consider you will take this wisdom seeing feeling and sending out gratitude.

Like a circle flow of abundance.

This beautiful practice of thanks and gratitude.

And as we close our practice I encourage you to take this sense of gratitude and thanks with you.

To be a brilliant receiver.

A giver.

And soul light activator.

By engaging in gratitude practice.

And if it feels good to you I invite you to bring your hands to a prayer position at heart center.

As we close our journey.

Gratitude and thanks and me honors the gratitude and thanks and all of you as we amplify our gratitude by practicing receiving and sending in a circle of love and light.
