Hey there,
This is Jen with Laughing Lotus Wellness.
Welcome to our meditation practice.
Welcome into our meditation,
Reflect the gift of clarity.
And taking whatever comfortable posture is available to you today.
Now beginning to steadily deepen the breath.
Lengthen the inhale and the exhale.
Beginning to drop into a soft and quiet space.
Slowly becoming aware of the breath and the body.
And invite you to begin our journey today by tapping into the layers of your being.
Calling awareness to how the physical body is feeling.
Just bringing observation to the physical layer of the being.
And on an intentional exhale,
I invite you to release that layer of your being as we move into the mind space and the thoughts.
Observing how the mind is showing up today.
And then again with that intentional exhale,
Releasing that space as well.
As you move into the layer of emotion,
Observing the state of emotion that you might be in.
And observing without any judgment what emotions are present today.
And then with another intentional breath and exhale here,
Allowing that layer to flow away and moving into the next layer,
Which is that wisdom and insight,
Intuition.
Just checking in with how that's showing up.
Observing what the intuition and wisdom might be telling you today.
What's showing up for your highest good today.
And listening with those internal ears for the wisdom to show up.
Observing that space.
And then allowing with an intentional breath as you exhale,
Releasing that layer.
And moving in now to the very heart and the very soul space.
And as you breathe here,
I'm going to invite you to imagine that you can breathe right into the heart space,
The heart center.
And imagine the heart is glowing and also growing with every single inhale as you bring that beautiful light of awareness internally.
Reflecting on the beauty within that heart space.
And just observing here how all the layers are made up of energy.
And so as you're breathing here,
Inviting awareness and observation to the layers of your being.
With an intentional breath,
That exhale,
Releasing and letting go and fully arriving in the present.
And now,
As we begin our journey,
I invite you to set the tone of your practice with an intention or sankalpa.
You're welcome to use your own or mine if my words resonate for you.
Repeating them three times these words to send them through the layers of your being all the way into the center of the soul.
Center of that beautiful heart space.
I am grateful to reflect on the gift of clarity as it provides me with direction for my soul path.

We begin our journey today by taking a walk in the mountains.
I invite you to imagine a beautiful mountain range,
Fog and mist blanketing the entire area,
Leaving it feeling shrouded in mystery.
There's a beautiful scene and the fog leaves everything as sacred quiet.
The peace is profound.
Almost as if you are completely alone for this journey.
And off in the distance,
You can hear water running and animals moving around and scurrying here and there,
Busy with taking care of the things.
They are your companions today.
And beginning to really take this time to embody the sense of searching in your life.
What are you looking for?
Where has your mind been spending time?
How have you been feeling emotionally and spiritually?
And in this moment as you breathe,
I invite you to notice and observe where you might notice what wandering you're sensing in the soul.
Here in the body and breath,
Do you notice that question and searching?
And now beginning to walk and having this most profound sense of searching.
You see the path before you is almost completely covered in the mist.
And rather than feeling afraid,
You lean into it,
Saying to yourself,
I am trusting intuition to guide me where I need to go.
And with the breath now inhaling,
I am exhaling,
Trusting my intuition.
Inhaling again,
I am exhaling out,
Trusting my intuition.
Exhaling I am and exhaling,
Trusting my intuition.
And in repeating this thought,
You place one foot in front of the other.
And as you do,
You can see the path become clearer as if it clears the way each time you trust that inner knowing as if by magic,
The next right step and the next right step are guiding you down this beautiful mountain path.
The trees are thick,
The forest is dense,
The smells of pine and earth fresh air.
The sense of being purified in this space is overcoming you as if each step you take through the fog and mist is cleansing the soul as you go creating greater clarity.
And thinking to yourself in this moment,
I am cleansed and clear.
Talking again,
I am cleansed and clear and with the breath now inhaling,
I am exhaling out cleansed and clear.
Inhaling in,
I am exhaling out cleansed and clear.
Inhaling again,
I am exhaling cleansed and clear.
And continuing down the path,
You notice that the sounds of the water have moved away.
The trees on either side of you begin to climb up the mountain or steeply,
Leaving you a very distinct path for walking and yet it becomes more densely foggy.
And now you are functioning on instinct alone.
Taking care to place one foot in front of the other,
Sensing the forest floor of pine and earth and yet your footfalls are almost completely silent,
As if wrapped in the mystery of the sacred journey.
And trusting your steps,
Your inner knowing and in a groove of walking in the mist with trust and allowing the trepidation you may have noticed fall away as a trust is guiding you forward.
And the trees become thicker.
And now there is no path and the land is flatter.
So you pause and as you peer out the mist clears a bit in one direction and you instinctively walk through it.
As you move sensing this purification of embodying the experience of trusting yourself,
It is as if the mist begins to flow away from you,
Opening the scene to a beautiful space.
Fog on either side,
But so much clearer to you,
As if with a set of spiritual eyes.
And beginning now to really sense that the thoughts of searching are beginning to unravel as you trust the clarity to provide direction for your life.
Making this soul connection to how clarity is a matter of trusting yourself.
And then the direction for the things seem to unfold before you and the searching transform into the next right step into direction and action for your soul journey.
And in the mist,
You have the incredible sense of clearing before you and a soul pull forward.
Arriving in a stunning clearing where a beautiful and serene lake is silent,
Completely undisturbed.
As you recall a quote by Indra's Devi,
Which said,
Like water,
Which can clearly mirror the sky and trees only so long as the surface is undisturbed.
The mind can only reflect the true image of the self when it is tranquil and wholly relaxed.
And knowing that this time is an invitation.
This moment,
This space.
So walking directly to the lake and peering down as if by magic,
Beginning to see with complete clarity and direction,
Which way the soul needs to go.
Looking upon the lake like a mirror,
You see it with absolute clarity.
Taking time here to breathe and invite that vision to unfold.
Ugh.
And now having had this incredible journey,
You turn and see the fog and mist have lifted for your insight and awareness.
That trust and clarity have opened the very path before you.
And taking in the crisp mountain air and the beauty of clarity,
Heading back the way you came with a sense of direction and forward movement for the soul.
Then returning our intention,
Or sankalpa for the practice,
Again sending that deeply through the layers of your being,
Using my words as your words if they resonate.

And slowly now,
Beginning to return to the earth body,
Feeling the sense of muscles and bones,
Rooting you in the physical plane.
Observing how you're feeling right now just noticing the experience of taking this time to identify and spend a moment,
Noting how that gift of clarity is direction for the soul.
Placing that awareness and observation in the breath and the body as it expands the chest ribs and belly.
Pulling in vital life force energy and checking in with that beautiful heart space.
Getting into and out of that heart center,
Expanding the light in that space.
And imagining how on every exhale you shine brighter.
And slowly beginning to run the thumbs across the ends of the fingertips,
Bringing awareness to the fingers and hands.
You might rub your hands together creating some warmth and placing one or both hands on the heart,
Feeling that warmth in that space,
Having gratitude for yourself,
Love and journey.
The beautiful journey of reflection,
The power of clarity,
Trust,
The power of direction.
Pausing for a moment,
Consider you will take that felt sense of embodying your gift of clarity and direction.
How you can be more aware of that direction unfolding when you trust the inner knowing,
Clarity as if it unfolds as a path before you and we listen with inner ears and look with the soul eyes.
And as we gently close our practice inviting you to have that sense of clarity,
Direction and soul trust as you move into your week,
Noticing how it shifts,
How you perceive your experience with new eyes and that sense of knowing that next right step.
And as we close if it resonates for you,
Bring those hands to prayer position at heart center.
The gift of clarity,
Trust and direction me honors the gift of clarity,
Trust and direction in each of you.
And we look upon the mirror of truth for the direction our souls need to take as a collective for the highest good from a place of love and light.
