I'm glad you're here taking a few minutes for this chakra practice.
This practice is infused with Reiki energy.
You may allow and receive only what you need and want in this moment.
Today the focus is on.
The root chakra,
Practicing grounding,
Safety,
And stability.
The root chakra is associated with feeling secure,
Supported,
And connected to the earth.
It forms the energetic foundation from which we grow.
Let's begin by taking a few moments to settle into the present moment and reconnect with your body.
Find a comfortable position.
Allowing your body to be supported.
If it feels right,
Gently close your eyes or simply soften your gaze.
Without changing anything just yet,
Notice your natural breath.
Observe the gentle rhythm of each inhale and each exhale.
There is nothing you need to force or fix.
Simply notice that your breath is here supporting you.
Now begin to deepen your breathing.
Take a slow,
Steady breath in through your nose.
Allowing your lungs to expand comfortably.
And gently exhale through your mouth.
Releasing any tension you are carrying.
Again,
Inhale slowly.
Filling your lungs from the bottom to the top.
And exhale completely,
Letting your shoulders soften and your jaw relax.
Continue breathing at your own comfortable pace.
With each inhale,
Imagine drawing in calm,
Steady energy.
With each exhale,
Allow stress,
Distraction and busyness to melt away.
Feel the rise and fall of your chest.
The gentle movement of your abdomen.
In the simple,
Comforting rhythm of your breath.
As your breathing slows,
Notice the places where your body makes contact with the surface beneath you.
Feel yourself supported.
Feel yourself present.
There is nowhere else you need to be.
And nothing else you need to do in this moment.
With every breath,
Allow yourself to become a little more relaxed.
A little more grounded.
And a little more connected to yourself.
Take one final deep breath in.
And slowly let it go.
Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Next,
We will begin to notice and relax the body.
Bring to mind a healing,
Relaxing color.
Whatever comes to you.
Imagine there is a ray of this colored light coming down from the universe.
And starting at the top of your head.
Is scanning your body.
It is like a wave passing through every molecule of you.
See this wave of light scanning the top of your head.
It is passing down through each section of your brain.
Past your forehead.
Eyes,
Nose and ears.
With each section it passes,
You notice how this spot feels.
And allow it to relax even the smallest amount more.
Continue breathing in and out.
The wave is scanning down past your mouth,
Chin.
The back of your neck.
Your throat.
Bringing your attention to each of these spots.
Just noticing any extra tension or stickiness.
The wave leaves behind calm and softness.
It passes your shoulders,
Your collarbones and shoulder blades,
Your chest.
Down your body.
Past your heart and lungs.
Meatbags.
Passing through your liver,
Kidneys,
All your internal organs.
Deep breath in.
And full breath out.
The wave moves through your stomach.
Down your pelvis,
Your hips.
Feel it passing through your thighs,
Knees,
Calves,
And shins.
You notice your ankles,
Heels,
Feet and toes.
A wave of healing light.
Passes through down into the earth.
Leaving behind calm and relaxation in your whole body.
Continue with your breathing.
In this state of relaxation.
Bring your focus to the root chakra area.
The base of your body around your hips.
Again,
Notice how this area feels.
You might sense the most subtle sensation as you bring your focus here.
Maybe a slight tingling.
A sense of openness.
Maybe a density and heaviness.
Just notice whatever you feel without judgment.
In your mind's eye,
Your imagination.
Start to see,
Sense,
Or know a soft mist of the color red.
Centered in the area of the root chakra.
It's a swirling,
Energetic glow of red representing your root chakra.
Breathing in and out.
From the orb of soft swirling red energy.
Picture a red rose gently emerging.
The rose moves from your root to the space in front of you.
See it growing so you can clearly see it.
It is still connecting to your root chakra with the stream of red glowing energy.
See this red rose and a glowing orb of red light in front of you.
From the universe above.
Silver stream of Reiki energy.
The universal source of life force energy flows down and infuses the red rose.
The rose is glowing bright and the red grows more radiant.
The glow of energy surrounding the red rose grows larger and brighter as source energy flows in.
Continue breathing in.
And O.
You see this beaming rose start to move.
It begins to rotate around you.
You feel the warmth of the energy emanating off the rose as it passes around you through your energy field,
Enriching and strengthening you.
You may see your energy field as a soft glow around your whole body.
As a cloud of particles floating around you or waves of energy flowing outward.
Whatever you see and feel is right for you.
It may simply be knowing and that is perfect.
As the red rose flows around your whole body,
You feel your energy brighten.
You sense an expansion in your space.
A deep feeling of stability and safety settles into your entire being.
The rose completes its rotation and gently returns to the center of you.
Take another deep breath in.
And out.
Feeling the warmth of this root chakra rose radiating through your whole body.
Slowly as you continue breathing.
The rose settles back into the root chakra.
Down into the area of your hips and pelvis.
The rose diminishes in size leaving a rich ruby red glow behind and a subtle steady warmth in your root chakra.
Breathing in and out.
Allow this infusion of source energy to anchor in your energy field and root chakra.
Filling you with divine love and light,
Along with a deep sense of stability,
Safety and security.
Take a few more breaths.
As you settle back into this space.
Deep breath in.
And long breath out.
Breathing in.
And out.
In and down.
Begin rolling your shoulders.
Wiggling your fingers and toes.
Continue breathing.
Whatever you experience today.
Let that be enough.
Slowly open your eyes.
Take your time coming back.
And be gentle with yourself as you move forward.
