Welcome,
I'm glad you're here.
Let's take some time to bring comfort and relief to the areas that need it most.
Take a moment to settle in,
Allowing your body to rest in a position that feels as comfortable as possible.
As you rest today,
I'll be holding a gentle Reiki intention to support your relaxation and balance.
Begin by noticing your breath exactly as it is.
If there is discomfort or pain in your body,
See if you can gently bring your awareness toward it,
Without trying to change it.
Not fixing,
Not resisting,
Just noticing.
If that feels like too much,
You can always softly bring your attention back to your breath.
You are in control.
Now imagine around you,
A soft,
Steady presence of warmth,
A quiet,
Supportive energy,
Like a gentle heat,
The sun's mild warmth on a late spring day.
And slowly,
This warmth begins to move closer toward the area of your body that needs attention.
Not forcing,
Just an offering.
As it reaches this space,
You might imagine it as a golden glow,
Or a soft,
Comforting color of your choice.
And instead of pushing the pain away,
This energy simply begins to hold it,
To flow into it.
It's as if the discomfort is being supported,
It's being cradled,
Given space to soften.
You may begin to notice subtle changes,
A shift in temperature,
A sense of space or openness,
Even just a small decrease in intensity.
Or maybe nothing has changed at all yet.
That's ok.
This is not about forcing a result.
It is about accepting,
Receiving,
Supporting.
Now imagine the sensation of pain as having a texture or shape.
Picture this in your mind's eye,
However it comes to you.
Is it brightly colored?
Is it jagged?
Dense?
Heavy?
Just observe.
Continue breathing,
And with each slow breath out,
See if that texture can soften.
Even slightly.
Is the tightness loosening?
Is the size decreasing?
The sharpness dulling?
The heaviness becoming lighter?
The warmth stays steady,
Patient,
Supportive,
There is no urgency.
If your mind wanders,
Or resistance comes up,
Just notice that too.
There is nothing that needs to be judged or pushed away.
For the next few moments,
Rest here,
Feeling supported and held,
Allowing your body to receive.
When you're ready,
Begin to come back to awareness again.
Noticing your whole body,
Feel the surface beneath you.
Notice your breath.
That sensation of discomfort may still be there,
Or it may feel different.
Either way,
You've created space around it,
And that space matters.
Take one slightly deeper breath in,
And slow breath out,
And gently return.
Whatever your experience today,
Let that be enough.
Take your time coming back,
And be gentle with yourself as you move forward.
