Welcome to this beautiful day.
My name is Christina and together we are going to focus on being mindful of the breath,
Allowing ourselves time and space to get centered with the breath.
So please take a moment to find yourself in a comfortable,
Easeful position.
You can be lying down or sitting upright,
Whatever feels right for you and your body right now.
Bring your eyes to gently close or soften your gaze.
So I invite you to turn inwards toward your breath,
Noticing the cool air coming in through the nostrils and swirling in the back of your throat.
Feeling the cool air coming in and the warm air going out.
Cool air coming in and warm air going out.
As you stay with your breath,
Move your attention to the rise and fall of the chest and belly.
Breathe deeply in,
Breathe out slowly.
If it helps,
You can count your in-breath and out-breath.
Breathe in 1,
2,
3,
4 and out 1,
2,
3,
4.
In 1,
2,
3,
4 and out 1,
2,
3,
4.
We're going to spend a few moments with this breath.
Focus your attention on where the breath is most pleasant for you.
You can breathe your body's natural rhythm or if it feels right for you,
You can take deeper breaths to relish in this beautiful sensation of breathing.
1,
2,
3,
4.
As you find yourself relaxing with each breath,
You may start to notice the aliveness in your body.
You may notice sensations of relaxation,
Tingling,
Vibrations,
Warmth.
Whatever you notice,
Just be with it.
Be with each breath.
We are practicing to center ourselves with the breath,
Grounding in this present moment.
There is nothing else that you need to be doing in this moment.
This is a beautiful gift you are offering yourself,
Taking this time for you.
If you notice that you are thinking,
Let go of that story for now and gently come back to the breath.
Enjoy this gift of resting in breath.
Now,
I would like you to offer yourself gratitude,
Gratitude for this time you spent in self-care.
You deserve this time in rest,
In breath,
In ease.
When you are ready,
You can gently transition back to the room you are in.
Gently open your eyes and appreciate this time you just took for yourself.
Thank you for allowing me to be with you on this journey.
May you be well.
May you be peaceful.
Namaste.
