Please do not drive or operate machinery while listening to this meditation.
Sit or lie down where you will not be disturbed.
Take this time for yourself to be kind to yourself.
There's nowhere else you have to be right now.
There's nothing else you have to do.
You're going to take four belly breaths.
Inhale,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Last time,
Inhale,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Imagine roots emerging from the base of your spine and the bottoms of your feet.
Your roots are going into the floor,
Into the ground beneath you,
Into the earth,
Around pebbles and underground rivers,
Deep into the earth,
Deep into the dark,
Warm,
Rich earth.
May you connect with the spirit of the earth to ground you,
To protect you as you do this meditation.
When you're ready,
Open up the top of your head to the heavens and let the light of the universe flow in like a gentle stream past your eyes,
Past your throat to connect with your heart,
Down to your solar plexus,
Into your sacral,
Into your root chakra.
And may the energy come up through your root and your feet,
Through the sacral,
Through the solar plexus,
To connect with your heart and melt there.
Imagine you're standing barefoot in a field of green grass.
You flex your toes and feel the earth beneath your feet.
A gentle breeze caresses your face.
Clouds float without effort in the sky.
The sun's light is gentle,
Rising above the horizon,
Warms your skin.
You walk toward the rising sun and each step brings you closer to a large field of big,
Beautiful,
Vibrant,
Bright,
Yellow dandelions.
As you come closer,
You notice their individual shapes and sizes.
Butterflies and bees float and fly around you.
You stop to take in the beauty.
You reach up to caress a flower closest to you,
And as your fingers gently touch it,
The bloom faces you.
The sun grows brighter,
And as its light connects with the dandelion,
Does the light of the sun connect with you and your spirit.
Each time you take a deep breath and exhale,
The light speaks to the part of you that sees yourself as the victim.
The light speaks to the part of you that gave your power away,
To the part of you that feels you aren't able to change your circumstances,
To the part of you that feels repressed,
To the part of you that has to rescue everyone,
To the part of you that has to save everyone.
The light says,
Recognize your power within you.
Take responsibility of where you are and see it as a starting point toward a different and better place.
Be of power,
Be of peace.
Let go of what is no longer needed.
Named,
Unnamed,
Known,
Unknown.
You feel energy within you shift as spirit discharges the lower,
Denser,
Negative energy and allows higher,
Lighter,
Positive energy to fill in,
To restore and nourish your confidence.
You accept complete responsibility for your life.
You have the power to face anything.
You have the power to overcome anything.
You have the power to be anything you need to be.
You have the power to learn all that you need to learn.
Anything that resonates with you and your highest good.
May all this or something better manifest itself for you in totally harmonious ways for the highest good of all concerned.
May all this or something better manifest itself for you in totally harmonious ways for the highest good of all concerned.
So be it,
So it is.
When you're ready,
Thank the dandelion for being a source of support as it turns back toward the sun.
Pull your roots from the center of the earth,
From the warmth,
From the underground rivers,
From around pebbles,
Through the ground underneath you,
Through the floor beneath your feet.
And may the light of your crown close,
But always know you are guided and protected.
Always know you are doing the best you can.
Thank the universe,
Thank the heavens,
And thank the earth for this time of reflection of the solar plexus.
Namaste.
