As a Reiki Master Teacher, I've noticed that when your self-care is inconsistent or nonexistent, it affects your life in many ways. You feel guilty about taking time for yourself, you allow others to affect your creativity you struggle to maintain control. The meditations are distance Reiki set to subliminal music and a "basic" level of coaching in self-care because it's not specific to any one person. On one level you're lowering resistance because you're in a meditative state. On another level, you're receiving Reiki which further helps you better objectively observe the Stuff in your life AND lower your stress level by balancing the energy in your body. The subliminal music was specifically chosen to help facilitate the meditation and for you to more easily receive the Reiki.
