Blessings,

Beautiful souls.

My name is Kristen Simons.

I am a meditation teacher and Reiki master teacher.

I am so grateful to join you on Insight Timer for this Reiki-infused meditation.

Before we begin,

I will provide a brief overview of Reiki.

If you are interested in learning more,

Please listen to my Introduction to Reiki track,

Which is free here on Insight Timer.

Reiki is a Japanese healing technique founded on the idea of channeling universal life energy to promote healing and relaxation.

It involves a practitioner lightly placing their hands on or near the recipient's body,

Facilitating energy flow to help reduce stress,

Alleviate pain,

And enhance overall well-being.

The non-invasive practice aims to harmonize the body,

Mind,

And spirit,

Promoting peace and balance.

Reiki is also channeled at a distance,

Providing the same benefits as an in-person treatment.

This meditation is based on my distance Reiki sessions and my Reiki self-treatments for chronic illness.

I hope you enjoy this healing practice.

I typically recommend one session per week or more to clients as this allows you to become more in tune with your energies and allows for healing integration.

During the meditation,

I will silently invoke the sacred Reiki symbols to aid in the healing process.

If you are a Reiki practitioner familiar with the symbols,

Please use them as you feel called.

For all others,

Your intention to heal is all that is required.

Reiki is intelligent and will flow to the areas that require balance and healing,

Including mental states.

All that is required of you is to rest comfortably,

Allowing healing universal energy to wash over you and through you,

Leaving you feeling rested,

Calm,

And renewed.

Now please find a quiet,

Comfortable place to sit or lie down,

Whichever is available to you in this moment.

Allow your hands to rest gently at your sides or lap,

Palms facing upward in a receptive position,

Or,

If you prefer a more grounding practice,

Allow your palms to open downward towards the earth.

Now let your eyes float closed and take a few deep breaths at your own pace,

Feeling your body relax deeper with each breath.

Now see if you can make yourself just 10% more comfortable.

Now that you have found your restful posture,

Continue to breathe slowly and evenly,

Witnessing your breath.

Notice the inflow and outflow,

The gentle rise and fall of your abdomen,

The sensation of air as it flows in and out of your nose.

Allow the gentle rhythm of your breath to relax you,

Allow it to foster a sense of ease in body,

Mind,

And spirit.

Now gently take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in,

Sensing your belly rise,

Holding briefly at the top,

And exhale through your mouth with a sigh,

Allowing any tension or tightness you may feel to flow out into the universe.

Now take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in,

Allowing your belly to rise fully,

Holding briefly at the top,

And exhaling with a sigh,

Enabling all of the stale air that has accumulated at the base of your lungs to leave your body.

And one more time,

Take a slow,

Deep breath,

Filling every space of your lungs and refreshing your body with beautiful,

Life-giving oxygen.

Your blood vessels bring in that sweet air and pass it through every part of your sacred vessel.

Release the breath with a sigh,

Knowing that your whole body is refreshed and renewed with life-giving oxygen.

And allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.

Begin to notice a gentle stream of healing energy flowing towards you from the depths of the universe.

This energy is whatever color that comes to your mind first.

This color holds the vibration of healing your mind,

Body,

And spirit require in this moment.

And this beautiful,

Sparkling energy is guided directly to the crown of your head.

Intuitively you know it is meant only for you,

To heal your unique energetic blueprint.

As this healing energy streams in through the crown of your head,

You may feel a tingling sensation,

Lightness,

Or even a bubbly or fizzy sensation.

This healing wave permeates the top of your head and begins to flow down over your forehead,

Renewing you at the cellular level.

This energy flows down over your eyes and temples,

Relaxing as it continues to move down your cheeks,

Your jaw,

Into your mouth,

Over your tongue,

Surrounding your head and gently permeating your neck and shoulders,

Washing away any tension you may be feeling.

This energy flows through your body,

Gently shifting and healing any constriction you may be sensing.

Feel a release in your upper and mid-back.

Your belly softens as this beautiful energy swirls into your solar plexus.

It removes doubt or hesitancy,

Allowing you to fully own your truth.

This Reiki energy continues flowing down your body,

Washing over and through you.

Universal love permeates your cells as this energy washes away any pain or constriction you may be feeling in your low back,

Your hips,

Or your pelvis.

Notice this energy as it flows into your thighs,

Gently caressing your knees as this healing wave continues to move down through your calves and shins,

Releasing any tightness,

Your ankles,

Feet,

Soles of your feet,

Or toes.

Gently give thanks for the support your sacred vessel provides you every day as this energy now flows out through the bottom of your feet into Mother Earth,

Taking any pain with it.

Rest here for a few moments,

Allowing the gentle healing waves of energy to flow through you,

Starting from the crown of your head and descending to the soles of your feet.

Feel the beautiful Reiki energy surround and renew you,

Body,

Mind,

And spirit.

During this sacred time,

I will silently chant the Reiki mantras,

Creating a space for this healing energy to fully integrate while Mother Earth lovingly transmutes any pain or tension that may have left your vessel.

As this wave of healing energy begins to fade,

Allow your awareness to softly return to your breath.

Embrace the tender qualities of your relaxed breath,

Feeling its gentle rhythm and the comfort it brings.

Now allow your breath to deepen as awareness returns to your body.

Gently bring small movements to your fingers and toes,

Sensing the subtle energies stirring there.

When you are ready,

You may open your eyes and greet the day refreshed.

I hope this Reiki-infused meditation has brought you deep renewal and healing.

Engaging with this practice creates a sacred space for your spirit to connect with universal energy that surrounds us.

Promoting physical healing and emotional and spiritual well-being.

I recommend listening to this meditation at least once a week for continued healing and balance,

As it allows the energies to integrate and flow more freely within you,

Enhancing your overall resilience.

As you immerse yourself in this peaceful journey,

Take a moment to reflect on the changes you observe in your life,

Embracing the transformation that comes with consistent practice.
