Explore MeditationKaren graduated from The Alexander Technique Training Center’s three-year program in Charlottesville, VA in 1998. She has studied CranioSacral Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release, and Advanced CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute, and received her Masters of Wisdom Meditation certification with Davidji in 2023. After graduating from the Virginia School of Massage, Karen discovered the Alexander Technique and was drawn to its gentle, educational approach. She found that by teaching people to recognize their natural movement patterns, clients could carry this awareness with them—creating lasting change that unfolds over time. Karen uses her experience as a Alexander teacher, craniosacral therapist, and meditation teacher to help clients find their true sense of self and presence in daily movement, stress releasing practices, and ways to enhance their lives. Karen also offers movement and meditation classes, and works as an end-of-life doula, walking alongside people as they create meaningful plans for their final passage
