Make sure that you're comfortable so you can really relax.
Feel how your body touches your chair or your sofa or maybe your bed and feel how your body is being supported,
Carried.
You are being supported and you are being carried.
And through your bed or your chair you're also being supported and carried by the earth.
Feel your connection with the earth.
And feel how from your feet and your root center,
Roots are growing deep into the earth.
Strengthening your connection with the earth and helping you to feel grounded and more in the present moment.
And focus on your breathing for a moment.
Just feel the air flowing in and out of your body.
And if you notice it's a little high in your chest or a little rushed,
You can place a hand or both hands on your belly.
Helping you to slow down your breathing.
Feel your body on your bed,
Your sofa,
Your chair.
Feel your roots deep into the earth.
And breathe deeply and slowly as you listen to the following affirmations.
I am okay the way I am.
I trust my own power.
I trust my own knowing.
I am okay.
Today I'm going to be kind to myself.
Just because I'm worth it.
I am always worth being kind to myself.
Because why would I only be kind to others?
Today I'll talk to myself the way I would talk to a friend.
With love and with respect.
I talk lovingly to myself.
I support myself.
I look in the mirror and I say,
Hey you,
You're amazing.
And you are allowed to be there.
You are okay and I love you.
Yes,
I am allowed to be there.
I am allowed to take my space.
With my qualities and with my flaws.
And today I am extra kind to myself.
I treat myself with love and kindness.
And maybe also after today.
Just because it's really nice.
And maybe I do love myself a little bit.
And maybe a little bit more every day.
I am open to loving myself more and more.
I love me.
Now take a deep breath in.
And slowly breathe out.
Feel your belly moving up and down as you breathe.
Feel your roots deep into the earth.
And feel your body touching your bed or your sofa,
Your chair.
And then you slowly come back to the here and now.
To the place where you are lying or sitting.
Listening to my voice.
And slowly you start moving a little.
Wiggling your fingers.
Feeling your toes,
Moving your hands.
And when you feel ready,
You open your eyes.
