
Regression To Childhood & Past Lives
I attended a professional training in past life regression therapy with Dr. Brian Weiss at the Omega Institute in New York. This is one of his meditations that he guided us through during that week training. I find it very healing and often have been able to draw parallels between the childhood and past life memory. This exercise may bring insights and a different perspective to your life experiences. If nothing else, it's deeply relaxing.

Progressive relaxation with regression to childhood and past life regression through the mirrors of time by Dr.
Brian Weiss.
Just relax now and allow your eyes to gently close.
Begin by focusing on your breathing,
Going deeply within.
With each breath,
Let yourself go deeper and deeper.
Deeper and deeper within.
Focus on your breathing.
This is called yoga breathing,
An ancient technique.
Deeper and deeper with each breath.
Visualize or imagine yourself with each breath inhaling the peaceful,
Positive energy that is all around you.
And with each breath out,
Exhaling all the tensions and anxieties and aches and pains that you store in your body.
With each breath,
Let yourself go deeper and deeper and deeper into a relaxed,
Serene,
Tranquil state.
This is so healthy for your mind and for your body to relax,
To go within,
To feel the peace.
And as you do this,
As you focus on your breathing,
Relax all of your muscles and feel yourself going deeper.
Just feel yourself sinking deeper and deeper.
Relax your facial muscles and jaw.
A lot of tension is stored in this area.
Relax all the muscles of your neck.
This area stores a great deal of anxiety and tension.
People with headaches from neck pain carry a great deal of tension in their necks.
Relax these muscles completely.
And now relax the muscles of your shoulders.
Let them feel light,
Loose,
Completely relaxed.
People who walk around with the weight of the world on their shoulders have tightness and tension in these muscles.
Relax the muscles of your arms,
Of your back.
Both the upper back and the lower back,
Completely relaxing.
Relax the muscles of your stomach so that your breathing stays beautifully relaxed,
Deep,
Even.
And you reach a deeper and deeper level of peacefulness and serenity and relaxation.
An island of calm and tranquility.
And lastly,
Relax the muscles of your legs.
Stay relaxing your whole body now.
As your breathing stays nice and deep,
Relaxed and peaceful.
Feel yourself going even deeper.
Next,
Visualize or imagine a beautiful light coming in through the top of your head and beginning to spread down your body from above to below.
A beautiful,
Powerful,
Healing light.
Glowing beautifully in the light.
You choose the color or colors.
This light is connected with the light above and around.
A divine light.
A powerful light.
A healing light.
Because it heals every cell,
Every fiber,
Every tissue,
Every organ of your body.
Restoring all of these cells to the normal,
Healthy state.
Getting rid of illness.
Getting rid of disease.
Restoring to perfect health.
This is a deepening light.
Because it will bring you a deep level of peace and relaxation.
Allow yourself to go even deeper now.
Visualize or imagine the light beginning to slowly spread down from the top of your head,
Down past your forehead,
Behind your ears,
Behind your eyes.
Smooth out the muscles of your eyes,
Behind your scalp.
Relaxing these muscles.
Deepening your state.
Relaxing you even more.
Relaxing the muscles around your mouth.
And you feel more and more peaceful and relaxed.
Calm.
Into the back of your head.
And into your neck.
Completely filling up the muscles,
Nerves and spinal cord in this region.
With this brilliant bright light.
And your throat.
It smooths the lining of your throat.
You feel more and more peaceful and serene.
More relaxed.
Getting rid of all aches and pains and illness as the light spreads onto your shoulders and down your arms.
Healing and relaxing every muscle and nerve,
Every fiber and every cell of your body as it reaches your hands.
And you go even deeper.
And now you can see or feel light.
The light spreading down from your shoulders onto your upper back and your chest.
Continue relaxing all the muscles and nerves of your upper back and spinal cord.
The entire spinal cord.
Including your brain.
Glowing with the light.
Standing out throughout all the nerves of your body.
Reaching everywhere.
And you are feeling so peaceful.
And it flows into your chest filling your lungs.
Glowing beautifully in the light.
Healing.
And it fills your heart.
Healing your heart.
And releasing the beautiful energy which is stored in your heart.
And your heart is gently pumping the light.
Throughout every blood vessel in your body.
So that it reaches everywhere.
And you feel so peaceful.
So serene.
So calm.
Letting all other noises and distractions only deepen your level.
Even more as they fade away.
And the light is flowing into your stomach and abdomen.
Filling up all of your abdominal organs and healing them.
And relaxing the nerves and the muscles of your stomach and abdomen.
And the light is flowing past your hips.
This beautiful healing,
Deepening,
Relaxing light is filling every cell,
Every fiber of your body with beautiful calm.
Getting rid of all illness.
And restoring every tissue,
Every cell,
Every organ to the normal,
Healthy state.
And now the light is reaching all the way down to your feet and your toes.
So that your entire body is filled with the light.
And you feel so peaceful now.
In a deeper and deeper state.
And next,
Visualize or imagine the light completely surrounding the outside of your body as well.
As if you were in a bubble or a halo of light.
And this light protects you.
No harm can come through the light.
Only goodness.
Only positive.
And the light heals your skin and outer muscles.
And deepens your level even more.
And you feel very,
Very peaceful now.
Very calm.
In a few moments,
I am going to count backwards from 10 to 1.
With each number,
Let yourself go even deeper.
So deep that by the time I reach 1,
You are in a state of deep peace,
Tranquility and relaxation.
So deep that by the time I reach 1,
Your mind no longer limited by the usual barriers of space or of time.
So deep that you can experience all levels of your multi-dimensional self.
So deep that you can remember everything.
Everything.
Every experience you have ever had.
You can remember everything.

In this beautiful state of relaxation,
Imagine yourself.
Visualize yourself walking down a beautiful staircase.
Walking down into the deepest recesses of your mind.
This is a place where there is no time and no space.
A place of connection and of oneness.
A place of wisdom.
Where to you can remember everything.
Walking down,
Down.
Deeper and deeper.
Down and down.
Step down,
Increasing the depth of your level even more.
And as you reach the bottom of the stairs,
In front of you is a beautiful,
Magnificent garden.
A garden filled with beautiful flowers,
Plants,
Trees,
Grass,
Fountains,
Benches and places to sit and rest.
A beautiful place.
Safe and serene,
You go into this garden.
And here your body can completely rest and continue to heal itself.
Still filled with the beautiful light.
Renewed and yet in control of your body and your mind.
In this garden,
The deepest,
Deepest levels of your mind can open up.
You can remember everything.
To show you this,
Let us go back in time.
Let us go back to your childhood.
As you stay in a deeply relaxed,
Calm and peaceful state,
Let your deepest mind pick out a childhood memory.
If you wish,
You can keep it a pleasant memory,
But you are free to choose.
If at any time you become uncomfortable,
Just imagine yourself back in the garden,
Resting.
You are always in control.
If you wish,
You can float above the scene,
Watching it as from a distance.
Or you can be in it,
Feeling it,
Seeing it vividly,
With colours and details,
With emotions and feelings.
This is always up to you.
Go back now to your childhood and pick out a memory.
It may be something you have not thought about or remembered for a long,
Long time.
Spend a few moments here remembering vividly,
Seeing,
Feeling,
Using all of your senses.
Now,
Let us go back even earlier.
Go back to a younger age,
As an infant or a toddler,
And pick out another memory.
And again,
Remember it vividly,
Using all of your senses,
Sight,
Sound,
Taste,
Touch,
Smell.
Be there.
Experience it.
Remember you can always float above,
Or if uncomfortable,
Just come back into the garden.
Do not worry what is fantasy,
Imagination,
Or actual memory.
This is all coming from your mind.
And so,
It is all important.
It is all from you,
And it may be a mixture from all of these.
This is for the experience.
Let yourself experience.
Let yourself remember.
Stay in a deep state and re-experience these memories.
There is no limit to your memory.
You can go back as far as you wish.
In this lifetime,
You can go back to infancy,
To birth,
Perhaps even in utero.
There is no limit,
And you can remember everything.
If you wish to go further,
We can do that now.
Imagine now that you are back in the garden,
And in front of you is a large and beautiful mirror,
Filled with light.
And as you look in the mirror,
You see the reflections of many,
Many mirrors.
And in each of these mirrors,
You are in a different time,
A different place,
Perhaps a different space or dimension,
Perhaps another lifetime.
If you wish.
.
.
You will be able to go back and remember this now.
As I count backwards from 5 to 1.
Feel yourself being drawn,
Pulled into one of these mirrors.
One of these reflections.
When you look back,
You see yourself in many,
Many places,
Times,
In different dress.
You may look very different.
Be drawn,
Pulled to one of these mirrors,
To one of these times.
Perhaps one that helps you explain or understand a problem,
A symptom,
A talent,
A relationship,
A habit,
Special knowledge,
Whatever it is,
Feel yourself pulled,
Drawn to one of these or several of these.
As I count backwards from 5 to 1,
Go into this mirror.
Again,
If you feel at all uncomfortable,
Just float above and watch it,
As if watching a movie.
But if you wish,
You can be within,
Experiencing it vividly.
As I count backwards,
Go into the mirrors,
To help you understand and to remove any blocks,
Any obstacles to your inner peace and joy.
To your inner happiness.

Going into the mirror,
Feeling drawn.

Nearly there.

Be there.
If you have a body,
Look down at your feet and see what you are wearing at your feet.
Whether shoes,
Sandals,
Furs,
Skins,
Or perhaps nothing at all.
And look at your body,
Look at your skin,
Your clothes,
Your hands,
The size,
The color.
Look around at the topography,
The geography.
Are there buildings?
Are there people?
Find yourself.
Let a date come into your mind.
Where are you?
You can move forward or backward in time.
Go to significant events and spend as much time as you need and find the answers.
If you wish,
You can move forward in time and find out what happened.
What happened to you?
Were there any traumas?
Is there a death scene?
If you wish not to view this,
Not to experience this,
Then don't.
Explode above.
If you feel drawn to more than one time,
You can do this too.
You can travel.
You can see more than one lifetime.
But if you choose to stay and in more detail examine one,
That is fine too.
Take as much time as you need.
From attention to detail,
To clothes,
To dress,
To appearances.
You will be able to remember everything.
Soon it is time to come back.
And imagine you are now finishing up and leaving this or these times.
And returning to the garden where your body has been resting and refreshing and healing.
And now it is time to awaken.
And I will awaken you by counting from one to ten.
When I say ten,
You can open your eyes and you will feel awake and alert in full control of your body and mind.
Feeling wonderful,
Refreshed,
Relaxed.
Filled with a beautiful energy and feeling great.
Two.
Three.
More and more awake and alert.
Feeling wonderful.
Four.
Five.
Six.
More and more awake.
Feeling great.
Seven.
Eight.
Nearly awake now.
Open your eyes.
Feeling awake.
Feeling alert.
Feeling grateful for this beautiful experience.
Relaxed.
Filled with beautiful energy.
