Sometimes the end of the day carries a softer kind of heaviness — not what you finished, but everything you quietly held together. The emotions you managed. The moments that stayed with you. The parts of you that kept going even when you felt tired. This final session is where you let the night hold you. Through slow breathing and gentle somatic unwinding, your body will ease out of bracing and into deep surrender. We’ll soften the space behind your heart, relax your belly, and let the mind loosen its grip on what still feels unfinished. As the day dissolves, you’ll come home to what’s always been true: your body knows how to soften, your breath knows the way, and rest is safe for you. If this series has supported you and you’d like to go deeper, I offer gentle 1:1 guidance for women navigating tender seasons. You can connect with me through my Insight Timer profile. Welcome back love,

And this is the fifth and final session in our journey together,

Surrendered,

Sleep meditations for the moms who do it all.

Tonight,

We'll gently close this chapter together,

And this practice is for the part of you that wonders if you're doing enough,

If you've held it all together well enough,

If you can really let go.

There is no proving,

No earning,

Only a soft invitation to rest,

Into trust,

Into your breath,

Your body,

And the support that's always holding you.

So settle in,

And let's begin.

Let's arrive with breath,

And we're going to inhale through the nose for a count of six,

Hold for two,

And exhale through the mouth with a sigh for eight.

We'll go slowly,

Side by side.

Take a gentle inhale through your nose,

Six,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One,

Hold softly at the top,

Two,

One,

And exhale through the mouth with a sigh,

Eight,

Seven,

Six,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One,

Beautiful.

Again,

Inhaling through the nose,

Six,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One,

And exhale,

Eight,

Seven,

Six,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One,

One,

Hold,

Two,

One,

And exhale,

Eight,

Seven,

Six,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One,

And let your breath return now to its natural rhythm.

Now the longer exhale gently slows your body down,

Telling your nervous system it's safe to let go,

It's safe to soften,

It's safe,

And now bring your awareness to the center of your chest,

Where your heart is,

The gentle rhythm of your breath moving there,

And with each inhale,

Imagine your heart softening and expanding just a little,

And with each exhale,

Let that light settle deeper inside you,

Spreading a quiet steadiness throughout your whole body.

Just notice what it feels like to allow and let your chest open even slightly to the safety already within you.

If it feels right,

Place a hand over your heart,

Feel beneath your palm that steady pulse that's been with you through everything.

Every high,

Every heartbreak,

Every new beginning,

And to that rhythm now,

Let it remind you that you have always known how to come home to yourself,

Even when you've doubted,

Even when you've forgotten.

And as you breathe,

Feel the space around your heart open,

Not dramatic,

Just softly available.

Creates a little more room,

Confidence,

Reach for trust,

It's already here,

Under all the noise,

Every steady beat.

Beneath your hand is proof that you can meet life as it comes.

Now feel that steady energy moving through you,

Through your center,

Into your legs,

In the quiet truth.

That your heart was never fragile,

It was only learning how to rest open.

Trust doesn't mean that you have to know everything,

Trust is simply letting this moment be enough.

Here,

You are safe,

To rest,

To soften,

Steady,

Feel your body,

You've done enough.

You've released enough,

And you are safe.

Thank you for showing up,

Even if you missed a day,

Even if it felt messy,

Even if it wasn't perfect.

Every moment you gave yourself here mattered,

Every breath was enough,

Every time you returned,

You reminded yourself that rest is here for you,

Whenever you need it.

So as this journey closes,

Know that the door is always open.

You can return to these practices anytime you need to soften,

To release,

Safety.

May the safety you felt here ripple gently into your days,

Find you whenever life feels heavy.

How small moments of rest begin to change the feeling beneath your doing.

So rest now,

Love,

Is holding you,

And your own heart is holding you too.
