How to feel differently about a situation that keeps repeating and reoccurring within your life?
We're unable to change how anyone else feels or responds to a situation,
But what we can change is how we feel and how we choose to respond.
If something has been playing itself out over and over,
Perhaps it's a conversation with somebody,
What can you say differently this time?
Letting go of the frustration,
Of the impatience,
Of the worry,
And choose to send that person love.
Choose to feel compassion towards them.
They're only responding in the way that they know how to.
Perhaps you also need to be more compassionate and loving towards yourself.
Give yourself a moment to step away from the situation,
To let go of that stress and that pressure,
To connect with your breath,
To connect into the present moment,
And allow yourself to respond without the trigger,
Without the anger,
Without the frustration,
But allow yourself to respond from your heart,
Not from the ego.
And the more you practice this,
The easier it will become.
It'll start to feel like a more natural response,
And choosing to take that path of least resistance.
If the universe keeps throwing you hurdles along the way,
Choose to make a different decision.
Even if you don't understand how it's going to play out,
Making a different decision gives you the opportunity for a different response.
