Welcome to this guided meditation.
Placing your hands over your belly,
Just above the belly button,
So the tips of your fingers are touching.
As you take a nice deep breath,
Imagine sending your breath down to your baby.
As we breathe down to our belly,
Our fingertips will come apart slightly.
And as we exhale,
The tips of the fingers come back together again.
Taking a nice deep breath in through the nose.
Feeling that expansion through the tips of your fingers.
And as you exhale,
Slowly releasing the breath and feeling your fingers moving back closer together.
As you continue to focus on your breath,
This breath will become more natural.
Feeling that breath rise and fall through your body.
And as you continue to focus on this breath,
Repeating,
I breathe to my baby.
I breathe to my baby.
I breathe to my baby.
As you continue to focus in on this breath,
Connecting in with your body and how it's feeling.
Feeling the breath expand through the belly and your chest.
Feeling the muscles in your body relaxing on the exhale.
Letting go of the tension from your day.
Letting go of the busyness of your thoughts.
Allowing yourself to connect with your breath and to connect with your baby.
If the mind becomes distracted,
Focus back in on your breath or coming back to my voice.
As you continue to connect with the breath,
Repeating with each breath,
I can do this.
I can do this.
As you continue to repeat this affirmation,
This affirmation will support you to build your confidence.
To build your belief in yourself that you can birth your baby calmly.
To take your mind away from any fears or any concerns or worries.
And to focus on keeping your mind calm.
As we relax the mind,
The body follows its lead.
And if we allow our body to relax through this beautiful process,
We become in flow with our body.
We allow our body to do what it knows how to do best.
We don't need to tell our body how to birth our baby.
Our body instinctively and intuitively knows what it needs to do.
And as you continue to focus on your breathing,
Repeating now,
I am calm.
I am confident.
I am relaxed.
I am calm.
I am confident.
I am relaxed.
As you repeat these affirmations in your mind or out loud,
It's telling your mind and your body to believe in you.
To believe in your ability to keep yourself calm,
Focused,
Relaxed and in control.
In control of your emotions.
Choosing not to focus in on what makes you feel scared.
But rather focusing in on where your power lies and where it resides within yourself.
And as you tap into this innate wisdom within yourself,
You'll find that place of peace to enjoy this beautiful journey.
Lots of love.
Namaste.
