Her brother was on life support for 5 weeks and shocked doctors and nurses when his life support machines responded to him receiving reiki!

Today this podcast is with a beautiful dear friend of mine, Lisa, Who has an amazing story that I've asked her to share because I feel like the world needs to hear this story. And I hope that it inspires your journey of just believing in yourself and the things that you are drawn to. So welcome, Lisa. Thank you. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this and sharing your story because I know it is an emotional one as well. So tell me, Where does it begin with your journey with your brother? So about three months ago, My brother was airlifted from an outback hospital to Prince Charles. He had pneumonia, Water on the lungs and influenza A, So extremely sick. The doctors said, You know, The likelihood of him pulling through wasn't that good. And if he was any older, They probably would just let him pass. How old is your brother? He's 53. Oh wow, That's so young as well. Yeah, Yeah. So the initial meeting with the doctors was very confronting for us all, Because there wasn't a lot of positivity at all. I had a lot, We all had a lot of questions to ask. And I finished it with just saying, Look, You've got no idea how strong willed he is, And how strong his heart is. And, You know, How close we are, He's going to get through this. He's so strong. Yeah, So we sat with my brother every day for eight weeks, Oh, Five weeks, I'm sorry. And my mum and, Well, We're all extremely upset, But I sort of put some ground rules in. Like, You know, I know we're upset, But we've got to remain positive at all times. He won't like us sitting there crying at all. And he's at the moment, He's the only one that we need to concentrate on. So we, My sister was with me, My mum and dad and myself would just sit there, Talk about being positive, Putting things about what we were going to do at Christmas time, Holidays, Just forward planning to know that when he come through, There was, You know, Something to look forward to. Beautiful. I never allowed the doctors to talk in front of him at all either, Said if we're going to talk about it, Or the illness, We don't want him hearing it. So of course, With me and my love of crystals and my journey I'm on at the moment, I loaded his room up with clear quartz, A rose quartz, An amethyst and a, Oh my goodness, I can't think of the name of it. What colour? It's silver, Glittery. Anyway, It was a beautiful quartz. Yeah. Beautiful crystal. Another beautiful one. And I did daily Reiki on him. And when I did Reiki on him, He had no grip, So I used to make his hands grip around the crystals. And often at times the doctors and nurses would go, What are you doing? Because there was a shift in movement in his heart movements and his blood pressure. Because he had all of these monitors strapped up to him. Yeah, The only thing that was keeping him alive were, There was an echo machine, Which would refresh his blood and a machine that was breathing for him. Wow. So they would notice changes in him and they would often ask me about the crystals and I'd explain to them because not often doctors take such a big interest in it. Yeah. Because we were there daily and different ones would drop in, I would go through it several times. But I was quite interested in helping them understand perhaps a different way of healing as well. So I guess day five, The doctors was still quite gloomy. However, When I walked in, One of the nurses said, You're not going to believe what's happened. And I'm like, What? And they said, Look at your crystals. My clear, Sorry, My rose quartz, Which is quite a heavy spear, Actually cracked in half. And the deep purple amethyst drained colour. Yeah, Wow. So that was like, Oh, I wonder what's going on here. Yeah. Then I said to my brother, If you can hear me, Can you move your toe? And he moved his toe. Oh, Wow. So from then on, I'm like, Yep, He's back. Yeah. So we just continued Reiki every day. And then a couple of days into it, We noticed he had an eye movement. When we were talking about his football, There was eye movement. Oh, Wow. Yeah. So that was really good. Yeah. So again, Daily Reiki, Daily love, Lots and lots of positivity. And that's what it was all about. Going in there with an open mind, Lots of love and lots of healing. The good news, I guess, At the end of it is he pulled through. He's got a lot of recovery left to do. But I guess the difference when he was flown in, The doctors did say to us there was five people that were in the same situation. The other four people weren't so lucky. But Jase pulled through. And he was worse off than the other people as well, Wasn't he? Yes. He was extremely, Extremely ill. And I guess the thing that's opened me up more and excited me about the journey that I'm on is I spoke to yourself and you put that, Asked all the Reiki group to send love. Yeah, Just put it out to the Facebook community. So maybe you're contacting me and just saying, Could I send him some Reiki? And I'm like, Absolutely. Is it okay to ask our support network out there? Can we all send Reiki? And so when you said yes, I just jumped straight into the group and just said, All right, Everyone send healing to this particular person. And I love the example you were giving once he actually woke up as well. Yeah, So when he woke up and a few days into it, He said to me, What were you doing? And my sister just replied, Oh, Just her witchy craft, That's all. But he actually said there was one night I felt like firecrackers were going through me. So he explained that to me. He said there was just lots and lots of different colors going through my body, He said, Because I felt quite dark. He said that there was one or two times, Particularly one night, That he could feel like lots of colors go through him. That's beautiful. So I would say that was all the love and energy that was being sent to him. Yeah, And that's the thing. I mean, We see it a few times in our journey when collectively, If we all work together to send someone positive healing energy, That there's a turnaround in whatever situation is playing out at that point in time. And even when it comes to you giving him Reiki, How, On average, How much Reiki do you think you were giving him on a daily basis? I would probably say maybe an hour and a half to two hours. It was very heavy going through. And after it was finished, I was exhausted, Absolutely exhausted. Because he was in hospital for how long? Five weeks. Five weeks, That's right. So five weeks, An hour and a half to two hours of Reiki a day. And that's a situation where not everyone would have the skill set, Not everyone would have the energy initially to even begin it, Because I know when I've supported my mother on her journey, Lots of people said, You know, It's amazing what you did, Just dropping everything and being there for them. But with who I am, It just wasn't another option other than doing that. And I know you're very much like that as well. It's like, Okay, Well, This is what life is giving us right now, So this is our priority. And we just give our all when it comes to supporting someone else to heal on their journey as well. And that's exactly right. Because I was sitting there and I was going to be there for, Goodness knows how many hours a day. I thought, Well, I've got the time and I've certainly got the energy and I've most certainly got the passion to give because you will give everything. And I think I feel so blessed to be able to give that because not everybody has, I guess, The skill set that we've got. The tools, Yeah. And even if you think about giving that energy, If we simplify it, It's presence. It's like we're just choosing to be present in the moment rather than suppressing the sadness, The grief, The fear, The anxiety, The worries. Rather than focusing our energy on that, You just turned it around and said, No, This is what we're going to do. And then you supported and inspired your family and the doctors and the nurses all to go, Okay, We're going to create a positive environment. And I remember even mentioning how there were another family there who didn't have that same positive experience with their loved one. Yeah, There was a family next to us and you could hear them and the only way I can describe it was that they wailed every day. And I walked in one day and the bed was gone and I asked what happened and he unfortunately passed away. And that, I guess, Inspired me even more. And it was just about being positive, Putting ground rules in. And my crystals, My crystals are the biggest things. So I sent my crystals home with him. I told my little niece, This is what you have to do to look after them. And he's still got his crystals. Excellent. And because was he open to crystals prior to this experience? No, No, Not at all. 53-year-old Australian male, Not at all. An Aussie bloke. No, Not at all. But I said to my little niece, Has he still got his crystals? And yes, They are. They're still on the windowsill. We buried the rose quartz, Of course. But I didn't ask about the amethyst if it's come back. But that's one thing I will ask. You have to keep me posted on that. Yeah, Yeah. But definitely the love of reiki, Being positive and focused is the key. And I think that's really important because in our toughest times, We can just turn to those tools that we've got to support ourselves and those around us. Because it's so easy being human to focus on the negativity. But when we find that inner spark to just go, Okay, This is what we're going to do. And then have that action to do it is just life-changing. It is. And it is life-changing because, Well, I contacted you and was like, Okay, Well, I want to finish this and this is my journey now. Because I've always believed, But seeing someone so ill and we did the reiki and used the crystals and daily love, Affirmations even I was using. We also decorated his hospital area with balloons and photos and affirmations and would read. He got lots of cards, So we would read things daily and update him. So it's just keeping him going, You know what? I'm still here. And so, And even like you were saying, Like the doctors when you got there, It was like, Okay, Say your goodbyes. Yeah. To be told that and still remain positive and do all of those things, I'm so proud of you. Oh, Bless. You've embraced everything that you are and that you enjoy. And you've just proven that even when the odds are shit and you say your goodbyes, There's still a chance there if we just, You know, If someone's time is not up and we've got the skill set and the tools to work with reiki or crystals or positivity or affirmations and all of the above and any other skill sets, You know, Someone's time's not up, We've got a chance to be able to support them as well.
