Hello friends,
This is Kimberly Novosel and I'm very excited to share with you this morning just a short practice find yourself a Comfortable posture you can be sitting or lying down if you're walking or driving a car.
No need to close your eyes Wherever you are lengthen your spine.
Let your shoulders drop down and back opening across your chest across your heart space Allowing access to your heart If you'd like to let your eyes close Tune in to your breath No need to change it Just notice your inhale and your exhale Notice your breath's rhythm or depth or texture And if all of that feels like a lot then just simply notice today that you're breathing Today I am breathing My breath is here for me always And still without forcing a change Maybe just invite your breath in the direction of a little bit slower and a little bit deeper Just in a tiny incremental change from one breath to the next Just a little slower.
Just a little deeper Let it come and let it go and keep your attention here on your breath and If you feel able to today also at the same time notice what's coming and going for you Notice the thoughts and feelings rise and fall notice if there are themes or messages What is yourself telling you today and all the while hold on to your breath?
Keep your attention on your breath.
And again,
If that's too much just focus on the breath.
Don't worry about the observing You are breathing.
What else do you notice about yourself today?
Without any judgment without any reaction What do you notice about yourself today?
Imagine picking up a little piece of notebook paper notebook paper and a pen And write down something that stood out to you today Imagine writing down whatever the most prominent message from yourself was What is something you noticed that you might want to pocket for later Write down those few words and imagine folding up that piece of paper and putting it in your pocket Knowing that you can come back to that thought or feeling That idea or that need anytime And once you've put it away,
You can let it go Take a couple of deep breaths deep full inhale big exhale Again just like that deep inhale fill up big exhale make some sound Feel free to take a few more breaths at your own pace whenever you feel ready when your practice feels complete open your eyes
