This is Kimberly the founder of flourish meditation coming to share with you a short practice for today I am gonna pull from personally the thing that I need the most which is a chance to just sit still and Let the noise begin to quiet separate myself from all of the Overwhelming tasks of the day today,
So I hope that that is something that will soothe you as well Let's begin Find a comfortable posture so you can be sitting lying down It's even okay.
If you are driving just keep your eyes open or walking keep your eyes open Otherwise if you're somewhere where you can and you feel comfortable then close your eyes Give yourself a few moments to adjust to the stillness If you notice any discomfort you can shift if you are fidgeting encourage your body to Relax to let go of that need to move and do and go Right now all you need to do is be Just sit and breathe and be There's no need even to clear your mind to control Limit your thoughts Just let the thoughts come and go Maybe encourage the pace of your mind to slow or the volume to quiet But don't force anything That should happen naturally with a little bit of time just sit and breathe and be If you notice any resistance rising up If feel that you need to move or to stop and go do something or even to open your eyes if they're closed Notice that resistance and let it be you do not have to Respond to it Be aware of that and stay with this very short opportunity to just be with yourself Allowing the pause making use of the pause For just a little bit longer sit and breathe and be There is no wrong way to do this if this feels easy Do it more often if it feels hard Do it more often For now,
We'll go ahead and come back to our day Give your fingers and toes a little wiggle maybe sway from side to side or roll out your shoulders Take a couple of deep breaths Whenever you're ready open your eyes,
