Come into a position where you feel both comfortable and alert.
You could be lying down in a reclined position,
Sitting upright,
Or perhaps you have your legs up the wall in an inversion.
Tune in to your body and see if you can tell what it needs today.
As you settle in,
Close your eyes or soften your gaze,
Beginning to take this journey inward.
Start with taking a few deep,
Slow breaths.
In through the nose and out through the nose.
When your breathing is slow and steady,
Your diaphragm tells your brain that everything is under control.
You are calm and safe and there is nothing to worry about.
Can you feel your body relax a little more with every exhale?
See yourself relaxing by a beautiful,
Peaceful ocean.
You can feel a gentle breeze as you watch the waves gently roll onto shore,
Then retreat back.
Your surroundings here are so calm and pleasant that it brings a feeling of complete peace.
This calm feeling washes over your entire body and mind.
You breathe in deeply and allow the peacefulness to fill you.
You are in control of your mind and your body.
You can choose to release negative emotions and free up space in your heart and mind for more positive things to come.
Take this time to release any worries,
Any disturbing thoughts,
Any sadness that you may be feeling.
Let those feelings float out,
Up,
And away.
Whatever has happened that has bothered you,
It is time to let that go.
Worry,
Disturbing thoughts,
And sadness are real,
And it's good to feel them and not push them down.
It's also freeing to know that you can set them free and allow them to float away.
Now choose thoughts that make you feel good.
When you focus on the positive,
You get more positive experiences in your life.
Imagine yourself looking out over the peaceful ocean and nurture yourself with loving thoughts.
It could be phrases like I am strong,
I am perfect just the way I am,
I trust myself.
Or you can create your own phrases that reflect what you need in this moment.
How many positive things can you tell yourself in the next several breaths?
Now take in a deep breath,
Allow good feelings to fill up your heart and your mind,
Fostering a sense of joy that starts from within you.
Letting go of that visualization and allowing your breath to maintain a normal,
Slow rhythm.
We'll go deeper by considering the tarot card,
The magician.
In the tarot deck,
The magician is numbered 1,
The number of new beginnings and opportunities.
He stands with one arm pointing up to the universe and the other pointing down towards the ground.
This represents his connection between the spiritual and material realms and he uses this connection to manifest his goals.
He has everything he needs to make his dreams a reality and so do you.
Take this time to turn your focus inward and ask yourself,
What do I want to create?
Sit with this question without trying to analyze or think,
Just allowing any answers to come up from deep within.
What do I want to create?
As you practice tuning in to your intuition,
You may notice that you don't always hear words,
You may have gotten images,
Impressions,
Random thoughts or memories from the past.
You may not have gotten anything at all,
Something could come up later.
But take the next few breaths to process your experience.
Listen to the following affirmation allowing it to resonate within.
I trust in my ability to bring my unique ideas into reality.
I have everything I need to bring my creative visions to life.
I trust in my ability to bring my unique ideas into reality.
I have everything I need to bring my creative visions to life.
As we reach the end of today's practice,
Bring your palms together at heart center,
Slightly bowing your head.
Take a moment to reflect on your experience.
Were you able to connect with your inner wisdom?
Did you practice listening and being open?
Allowing this experience and any insights that you have gained to stay with you.
Bring your awareness back to your physical surroundings.
Take your time and when you're ready,
Open your eyes and allow your body any movement that it needs.
