So when you're ready,
We'll begin of course just by getting comfortable.
Your body is working so hard to grow this life.
So shifting,
Adjusting in any way that you may need and physically settling into a place of rest.
And once you've settled,
Closing the eyes if that feels good to you.
And then taking a big deep breath in through the nose,
Filling your lungs completely,
And then slowly exhaling,
Letting go of any tension you may be holding on to.
Just allowing your breath to settle into a natural,
Easy rhythm.
Just effortless breath moving in and out of the body.
Now bring your awareness to the top of your head,
Noticing any tension or discomfort here.
And as you breathe,
Imagine moving from the top of the head all the way down your body.
You're softening and relaxing all of the muscles,
Softening the face,
The head,
The jaw.
Moving down your body to the neck and throat.
And releasing the shoulders,
The chest,
Down both of your arms all the way to the fingertips.
Continuing further down your chest,
Your back,
Your abdomen.
And then all the way down your body to the very tips of your toes.
Softening all of your muscles,
Just letting your body relax.
And now taking your hands and placing them on your belly.
And allowing that warmth to fuel the connection between you and your baby.
And with each breath,
Imagine there's this gentle wave of relaxation flowing through you,
Calming your body and mind,
And also transferring into being.
Together,
The two of you breathing as one,
Connecting.
And just finding a calm state.
The two of you together.
And now,
As you breathe,
Imagine that you're in a state of deep relaxation.
The two of you together.
And then on your next inhale,
Think to yourself,
I trust the process.
And on the exhale,
My body knows what to do.
Inhaling,
I trust the process.
And exhaling,
My body knows what to do.
Continuing with this.
Inhaling,
I trust the process.
Exhaling,
My body knows what to do.
Repeating this to yourself two more times.
And releasing the phrase.
And releasing the phrase.
And visualize a soft golden light surrounding you and your baby.
You can feel it wrapping around both of you like this blanket or this comforting little cocoon.
Creating a safe,
Nurturing space for you and baby to be held.
And with every inhale,
Draw in that golden light,
Filling your body with warmth and tranquility.
And as you exhale,
Release any worries or fears.
Just trusting that you and your baby are safe and supported.
Inhale,
Bringing in that tranquility.
Exhaling,
Knowing you and baby are safe and supported.
And as you do this,
Seeing this light flowing to every part of your body and going to baby's body.
And seeing this light really gravitate towards the areas that nurture and grow your baby.
And just breathe,
Visualize this light.
And as you exhale,
Just let it flow into your body.
And just breathe,
Visualize this light,
Knowing you and your baby are safe and supported.
And trust that your body is wise and it knows exactly what to do.
It's following the natural divine process that's been perfected over generations,
Over the years.
Your body knows what to do.
And you just have to trust the process.
And with every breath,
Feel the connection between you and your baby growing stronger.
Knowing that this bond is so powerful,
It's so filled with love and support.
And as you continue to breathe deeply,
Just releasing any last little bit of stress or doubt.
Just allow you and your baby to be held in that golden light,
Being nurtured and safe.
And tell yourself three times,
I am calm,
I trust my body and I am safe.
And this journey.
Just embrace the peace and serenity that comes with trusting your body and the process of pregnancy.
And then when you're ready,
Just begin to gently reawaken,
Maybe by wiggling your fingers or your toes or finding a full body stretch if you'd like.
And know that you can always return to this place of calm and trust whenever you need it.
And remember that you and your baby are on this journey together and your body is your greatest ally.
Thank you so much for joining me for this meditation and I hope you have a beautiful day.
