So when you're ready,
We'll begin just by getting comfortable.
Taking a moment to welcome in a new day.
Taking your time.
This is your time.
The beginning of your day.
So just take a moment or two just to settle into the morning.
Maybe checking in,
Saying something kind to yourself.
Just enjoying the quiet and stillness of the morning.
Allow your spine to get a little bit longer.
Your shoulders a bit softer.
Relax the jaw.
And bring your attention to your breath.
Feel the air as it moves in and out.
There's no need to change it.
But just notice those first few breaths of the day.
Let the breath become this anchor to the present moment.
Be present with the inhale and exhale.
And now notice your body.
The weight of your body.
The steadiness of the surface beneath you.
And the connection between your body and the surface beneath you.
You are here in this moment.
Make note of the quiet hum of life all around you,
But also within you.
Today is just beginning,
Waiting to unfold.
And together we'll take a big deep breath in through the nose.
And a long,
Slow breath out of the mouth.
One more time,
Big deep breath in.
Take that morning air all the way out.
And a long breath out.
We'll now move through a series of well wishes and blessings for your day and morning.
You can repeat each one to yourself,
Either out loud or silently in your mind.
May I move through this day with ease.
May I be kind to myself and others.
May I take moments of pause when I need it today.
I invite curiosity instead of resistance into my day.
May I find small joys in ordinary moments.
Today,
May I be gentle with my words and my actions.
May I be content in life today.
I welcome happiness into my heart.
May I remember that I am enough just as I am today.
And now,
Just taking a few more deep breaths.
Feeling these words settle into you like little seeds being planted.
Being here with the stillness of the moment.
And closing out our practice with a moment of gratitude.
For the gift of another day that we've been given.
When you're ready,
Reawaken.
And bring your practice to a close.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
